I left the Aneros community back at the end of May, 2011 for reasons i'll touch on in a minute. I will be leaving the Aneros community "again" when i post this to the forum. It's been said that "silence cant be heard", so i guess I will become "unsilent" and voice a concern. Awhile back, someone asked, "where is Ohmy06 at? " ...I feel i am able to speak here for him and let you know he left, pretty much, for the same reasons I left for the first time and again, will be leaving now "permanently" ....he, as well as I, and perhaps 'others', saw the Aneros forum and chat turn into something other than a platform for the advancement of Aneros experiences. Some will call me a prude, but some may say 'thank you'. No names need to be mentioned on this post. I will not point out people. If you believe, however, that your words either posted in the forum or in the chat do not seem appropriate, then perhaps, you can take 'your piece of the pie' with you. Ohmy06 and I had discussed this before via Yahoo Messenger. It is not that we didn't "play well" with others. I want to say there are numerous men and women on this site that have helped the advancement of the Aneros . For those, i would say , 'thank you' and continue your good works. I wish the future of the Aneros site best wishes, and for the 'newbies and grinders'.....just stay loose with this...."Let it happen...dont chase it, it will come to 'you'.... chuck
One question to ask ourselves is: what sort of impression does this forum give to first-time viewers? Is it a self-help forum for the larger group of users, or is it for a few to describe in detail aspects of their private activities that might be too much for some to take in?
At the end of the day, it's an internet forum, and most of what happens here, in spite of the subject matter, is basically what you see on any other internet forum. To that end, you have to take what you want from it. I don't agree with a lot of what is said here, but on the other hand, I've also learned a lot, and the forum was definitely helpful for me to achieving a Super O.
i have to say, i am not in favor of cryptic goodbye messages. i have no idea what chuckjo2000 is referring to. every once and a while on this forum there is some old fashioned flaming, but by and large is extremely civil.

Words of truth.....
Don't let every asshole on the net get under your skin.
Also take all "knowledge" not with a grain of salt but more like a half pound of salt.
Take care & best wishes, however you decide Chuck.
Bye, bye, Chuck!
I think I know what you're talking about; even if you're too shy to say. Things like uninhibited posts to threads, links to explicit videos, porn, and discussions that get very risqué, bordering on, if not actually becoming cybersex. Well, why not all of that? This site sells sex toys, and the full range of sexual expression and experience is celebrated, from the profane to the sacred, earthy to spiritual.
The fact that you can't deal with what goes on here is, or was your problem. I'm glad you solved it in an appropriate manner.
To those who remain here, I say, carry on, gents.
Sincerely,
Dave
I am sorry that both of them felt like they had to go. There have been many changes around here in the years I have been around, but there is one common element that still shines through....guys (mostly) come here for help and camaraderie in their journey to a pretty amazing and life changing event. There are so many factors that can come in to play and so many different journeys to hear about. I continually learn from even the newest user. There are many threads that I chose to not participate in, but to leave because of them seems a bit extreme. I have had many discussions both on Aneros and at Yahoo with Ohmy06 and considered him a friend. While I have not had as many interactions with Chuck, I know I liked what he said.
There have been many guys over the years that I have thoroughly enjoyed communicating with that are now gone and I am sorry about that too. So for now, I will quote:
To those who remain here, I say, carry on, gents.
I am sorry to see anyone leave for reasons like you state. I am clueless as to what you are talking about and also clueless if that is the same reason ohmy06 left.I have been a member here for about four years and do see changes in the forumn and esp in the chat room, but have not really seen much flaming going on other than the occasional troll.I hope in time you will reconsider and return
