everybody-

skyline opened an excellent topic in his thread "Let's talk about involuntaries"

since this is a question of constant interest, i'd like to get a bit more formal, though i also encourage you to contribute to the discussion in "Let's talk about involuntaries."

can you please copy and paste (not quote!) the following into your reply, and answer the questions. (feel free to suggest more questions. i can always edit this post to add them)

please answer before reading other's answers, to give the most integrity to the survey!!!

(0) can you have orgasms with the aneros? ie, what level are you at?

(1) in what percentage of your sessions do you get involuntaries?

(2) in a session that you are having them, what percentage, typically, of the session are they present?

(3) how long does a typical "set" of involuntaries last?

(4) are involuntaries necessary for you to reach orgasm?

(5) during involuntaries, can you feel the aneros move?

(5.5) do you feel the aneros rhythmically rubbing? if so, where?

(6) when the involuntaries are at their subtlest
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?
(b) what is the frequency, ie, how many times does it move back and forth per second?
(c) how strong are the contractions?

(7) when the involuntaries are their most aggressive
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?

Darwin, this is a good idea, I hope you receive many respondents to your survey. This would be difficult to do with a single Poll question. I wonder if @Aneros.com">Support@Aneros.com could establish an updatable survey questioneer to be placed in the Polls Forum, it would be interesting. Here are my answers to your queries :

(0) can you have orgasms with the aneros? ie, what level are you at?
Though I have experienced a couple of Super-O’s, I mainly experience mini-O’s these days and a few dry-O’s

(1) in what percentage of your sessions do you get involuntaries?
In my earliest sessions (1st couple of weeks) 0%, now, (after just over 1 year of practice), I get some involuntaries in 90% of my sessions.

(2) in a session that you are having them, what percentage, typically, of the session are they present?
When I am getting involuntaries they are present approximately 60% of the time.

(3) how long does a typical "set" of involuntaries last?
My times vary considerably but I’d estimate a “set” will usually last about 15-20 seconds then there may be pauses of just a few seconds to a minute to re-engage.

(4) are involuntaries necessary for you to reach orgasm?
I don’t know, when I’ve had mini-O’s and dry-O’s they have been present, my Super-O’s also had them present but as I recall they weren’t very strong or long lasting.

(5) during involuntaries, can you feel the aneros move?
I don’t feel the Aneros move very much but I do feel the resistance of the device as the muscles contract against it.

(5.5) do you feel the aneros rhythmically rubbing? if so, where?
I can feel a vague pressure inside my rectum pressing toward my prostate with the MGX and Helix models, The Progasm is felt as a fullness in the rectum and a stretching at the anus but not much movement with this model. The Peridise is mainly felt at the anus as teasing, sliding in and out action.

(6) when the involuntaries are at their subtlest
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?

At their subtlest, I would guess about 0-1/16” of movement.
(b) what is the frequency, ie, how many times does it move back and forth per second?
Frequency average about 2 contractions per second.
(c) how strong are the contractions?
It is difficult to measure strength but on a scale of 0-10 (with 10 being as tight as I can consciously contract my muscles) my involuntaries would probably come in at 2-3.

(7) when the involuntaries are their most aggressive
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?

At their most aggressive, I would guess about ¼” of actual movement though It feels like more.
(b) what is the frequencey?
The more aggressive involuntaries are at a slower pace, ¾ -1 per second.
(c) how strong are the contractions?
My strongest have been maybe at 6 on the 0-10 scale

(8.) which muscles are involved?
My anal sphincter muscle gives the stronger but less frequent involuntaries, my PC the more frequent but less intense contractions. I can’t remember my rectal muscles ever going into involuntaries (I may not be recognizing their action in conjuntion with the other two major muscle groups).

(9) can you have involuntaries without the aneros?
I can now by initiating a slight contraction consciously, whereupon, I get echo involuntaries.

(10) how do the different models affect your involuntaries?
The Progasm and Eupho induce the fewest involuntaries, next the MGX and Helix induce about the same reactions, my new little Peridise actually induces the most number of involuntaries, if I concentrate they can almost become a continuous string.

(11) is there anything else you want to mention or describe?
In all cases, I need to consciously maintain a level of contraction to keep the involuntaries going, as soon as I relax those muscles the set ends and I have to slightly contract again to restart a new series.

(0) can you have orgasms with the aneros? ie, what level are you at?
Super-O, but I've only experienced this once. I've had a number of mini-o's.

(1) in what percentage of your sessions do you get involuntaries?
90% roughly.

(2) in a session that you are having them, what percentage, typically, of the session are they present?
90% again, roughly.

(3) how long does a typical "set" of involuntaries last?
A good few minutes generally, but I'd say anywhere between 30 seconds and 3 minutes.

(4) are involuntaries necessary for you to reach orgasm?
Yes, definitely.

(5) during involuntaries, can you feel the aneros move?
Absolutely!

(5.5) do you feel the aneros rhythmically rubbing? if so, where?
Certainly. I guess it's rubbing my prostate?

(6) when the involuntaries are at their subtlest
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?
Very minutely, sometimes almost imperceptible.

(b) what is the frequency, ie, how many times does it move back and forth per second?
I'd guess around once every two seconds.

(c) how strong are the contractions?
Very weak.

(7) when the involuntaries are their most aggressive
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?
Really far! It feels like maybe a centimetre, but this is probably not accurate.

(b) what is the frequencey?
Very frequent, two to three times per second I believe is a good estimate.

(c) how strong are the contractions?
Weak. I am usually in a relaxed state.

(8) which muscles are involved?
Probably the anal sphincter muscle is the most active.

(9) can you have involuntaries without the aneros?
Yes.

(10) how do the different models affect your involuntaries?
I have had most success with the Helix, with which I achieved the super-o and majority of mini-o's. The Progasm has been overall less successful, but I have had good sessions with it. The Eupho has so far been the least successful of the three, but is still very enjoyable.

(11) is there anything else you want to mention or describe?
It seems that even after having a super-o, I may not have been fully re-wired.
Most of my best sessions, including the super-o, have been when I have had a slight headache.
I believe my best sessions also were when I was fully relaxed, and not holding any contraction.

(0) can you have orgasms with the aneros? ie, what level are you at?

yes, consistently. but not consistent super-Os.

(1) in what percentage of your sessions do you get involuntaries?

rare, i think.

(2) in a session that you are having them, what percentage, typically, of the session are they present?

10% except one time when i think i had them the whole time.

(3) how long does a typical "set" of involuntaries last?

less than a minute

(4) are involuntaries necessary for you to reach orgasm?

no

(5) during involuntaries, can you feel the aneros move?

yes

(5.5) do you feel the aneros rhythmically rubbing? if so, where?

no. except now, with the peridise, i am getting prostate rubbing, but not rhytmic.

(6) when the involuntaries are at their subtlest
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?

a millimeter at most

(b) what is the frequency, ie, how many times does it move back and forth per second?

a few times a second.

(c) how strong are the contractions?

very weak

(7) when the involuntaries are their most aggressive
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?

seems like a quarter of an inch.

(b) what is the frequencey?

once per second, like fucking.

(c) how strong are the contractions?

25%

(8) which muscles are involved?

with the aneros, it is my anus. with the peridise, it seems like my whole area inside there is vibrating

(9) can you have involuntaries without the aneros?

yes

(10) how do the different models affect your involuntaries?

the peridise by far gives me the most. it is new to me, and i feel like i might finally be ramping up to the full, famous, involuntaries experience.

(11) is there anything else you want to mention or describe?
i never had good luck with involuntaries w/ the aneros. for me, the aneros mostly trained me, in conjunction with ksmo, how to have aneros-less orgasms. but, the peridise is changing all that.

(0) can you have orgasms with the aneros? ie, what level are you at?

I do have the ability to acheive the level of Super O.

(1) in what percentage of your sessions do you get involuntaries?

I never really thought about it, but I guess I would say at least 75% of the time

(2) in a session that you are having them, what percentage, typically, of the session are they present?
40% - 50%

(3) how long does a typical "set" of involuntaries last?

30 seconds to a minute at a stretch.

4) are involuntaries necessary for you to reach orgasm?

No.

(5) during involuntaries, can you feel the aneros move?

You bet! It is as though they are in concert with eachother.

(a) do you feel the aneros rhythmically rubbing? if so, where?

Yes. Generally circular motions on and around my prostate.

(6) when the involuntaries are at their subtlest
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?

Maybe 1/8 inch. When they are at their subtlest, I would say that the Aneros is not typically moving much. Things are just ramping up!

(b) what is the frequency, ie, how many times does it move back and forth per second?

You got me.

(c) how strong are the contractions?

Generally this is when things are just getting started so the contractions are not too strong.

7) when the involuntaries are their most aggressive
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?

I would say during these more intense times that it is moving back and forth by up to an inch. That is just a guess however because I have not paid very close attention during these intense times.

(b) what is the frequencey?

The can occur as a precursor to every Super O wave that hits.

(c) how strong are the contractions?

The contractions can get pretty stong at this point. I try to hold them back a bit because the real strong contractions can cause a bit of pinching which takes away from the experience. I like to have it be more of a flow.

8) which muscles are involved?

Sphincter mostly.

(9) can you have involuntaries without the aneros?

Kegels can set it in motion without Aneros in place.

(10) how do the different models affect your involuntaries?

MGX, Helix & Maximus would be about the same. I can get some good involuntaries. Doesn't always happen.

Progasm: I feel the involuntaries more inside with this model since it is so much bigger. I can feel them "crawling" up along the body of the Progasm. I can't say that it does not happen that way with the other models, just that the feeling is more pronounced with the Progasm.

Eupho & Peridise: I seem to feel the involuntaries pretty strong with these models. Probably because those muscles are not being stretched quite so much.

(11) is there anything else you want to mention or describe?

Yes. The different speeds associated with the involuntaries. I can get them when they feel very slow and very fast. I kind of like the slow speed. I have likened it to the movement of a centipedes feet as it lumbers along. It can also twitch quite fast. I wonder how others experience this?

(0) can you have orgasms with the aneros? ie, what level are you at? I have had many orgasms at different levels. The super O is not easy, sometimes I go for months without one. Mini 0 and Midi 0's and dry O's are easier and more frequent.

(1) in what percentage of your sessions do you get involuntaries? 80 to 90 %

(2) in a session that you are having them, what percentage, typically, of the session are they present? it can vary quite a bit, 25% to 70%.

(3) how long does a typical "set" of involuntaries last? a typical set probably is under a minute

(4) are involuntaries necessary for you to reach orgasm? I would say yes, I rarely make it to orgasm without involuntaries

(5) during involuntaries, can you feel the aneros move? yes, the amount of movement depends on the model

(5.5) do you feel the aneros rhythmically rubbing? if so, where? With the eupho and progasm mostly at the prostate. with the peridise its the anus or the rectum

(6) when the involuntaries are at their subtlest When there is little or none in the way of contractions
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move? 5-6 mm
(b) what is the frequency, ie, how many times does it move back and forth per second? 3-4
(c) how strong are the contractions? They vary from mild to very strong. Sometimes my entire body clenches

(7) when the involuntaries are their most aggressive One of two ways, either a strong clench or when I first start contractions.
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move? Maybe1-2 mm
(b) what is the frequencey? high, almost constant and very rapid
(c) how strong are the contractions? Can be very strong

(8) which muscles are involved? PC, pelvic floor, rectal and anal

(9) can you have involuntaries without the aneros? yes, especially after a session with the peridise

(10) how do the different models affect your involuntaries? The Progasm brings them on quickly, the eupho can take quite a bit longer, the maximus can bring them on quickly. It depends on how aggressively I make my contractions

(11) is there anything else you want to mention or describe?

(0) can you have orgasms with the aneros? ie, what level are you at?
Yes, Expert Super O's, continuos O's, wet prostate ejaculation with true 'release'

(1) in what percentage of your sessions do you get involuntaries?
All

(2) in a session that you are having them, what percentage, typically, of the session are they present?
90% to 95%

(3) how long does a typical "set" of involuntaries last?
Almost continuously. They tend to get stronger with time.

(4) are involuntaries necessary for you to reach orgasm?
They are the beginning or introductory signs of mild orgasms. I'd say they don't cause orgasm but are a feature of it.

(5) during involuntaries, can you feel the aneros move?
Some

(5.5) do you feel the aneros rhythmically rubbing? if so, where?
Prostate and pc floor muscles, and anal sphincter particularly if I am flexing it.

(6) when the involuntaries are at their subtlest
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?
Not a lot
(b) what is the frequency, ie, how many times does it move back and forth per second?
I notice I tend to contract and have it move back and forth to some degree in rhythm with my breathing. If I am more excited then I breath faster and it moves faster.
(c) how strong are the contractions?
Involuntary contractions can be mild such as at the beginning of a session, or they can be incredibly strong and intense if you are in the midst of a mind blowing full body orgasm

(7) when the involuntaries are their most aggressive
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?
Very far up inside me and pressing against the prostate

(b) what is the frequencey?
In rhythm with my breathing

(c) how strong are the contractions?
Very strong

(8) which muscles are involved?

Primarily thighs, and buttocks, but other parts of leg sometimes, along with abdomen, arms, hands, fingers, face, and eyes. - All of these twitch.

(9) can you have involuntaries without the aneros?
Yes

(10) how do the different models affect your involuntaries?
I only use the Helix and MGX so far. The Helix brings light and playfully obsessive involuntaries easily. I use it to prime for the MGX which my body seems to need to be a bit more aroused in order to take advantage of. Otherwise it would take a long time to get the MGX really going good. This is something I learned from trial and error.

(11) is there anything else you want to mention or describe?
Yes, you can have full body orgasms, there is a true feeling of release and not a feeling as if you are just near the edge of cumming, and it is possible to have wet prostate ejaculations which feel very similar to normal manually stimulated penile ejaculations, or you can have dry orgasms where you may be dripping pre-cum.

(0) can you have orgasms with the aneros? ie, what level are you at?
yes, i can have orgasms with the aneros (i have the progasm); i have had both mini and super-o's with the aneros; i would consider myself an intermediate-advanced level user.....

(1) in what percentage of your sessions do you get involuntaries?
all

(2) in a session that you are having them, what percentage, typically, of the session are they present?
40-50%

(3) how long does a typical "set" of involuntaries last?
about 15-30 seconds

(4) are involuntaries necessary for you to reach orgasm?
no

(5) during involuntaries, can you feel the aneros move?
yes-being pulled in and deeper

(5.5) do you feel the aneros rhythmically rubbing? if so, where?
YES! dancing across my prostate...

(6) when the involuntaries are at their subtlest
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?
(b) what is the frequency, ie, how many times does it move back and forth per second?
(c) how strong are the contractions?

a: hmm, maybe about the width of my finger? it doesn't move too much
b: i don't know...i'm feelin too good to measure....
c: not too strong, just subtle enough to let me know that the appetizer is done and the main course is coming soon....

(7) when the involuntaries are their most aggressive
(a) how far back and forth does the aneros move?
(b) what is the frequencey?
(c) how strong are the contractions?

a: probably not very much back and forth movement as much as "vibration." it gets pulled into my anus and just vibrates my entire prostate
b: they occur repeatedly, leading up to the super-o, then every 5-10 seconds between (residual) as the super-o cycle continues, then subsides
c: quite strong-i can't control them

(8) which muscles are involved?
mostly sphincter and pc muscles, but particuarly when on my stomach, my ass, thighs, and abs contract too

(9) can you have involuntaries without the aneros?
all the time....

(10) how do the different models affect your involuntaries?
i only have the progasm so i don't know

(11) is there anything else you want to mention or describe?
