based on the following threads, i have a general principle to articulate. if you stretch your pelvic floor one way or another, you will get enhanced responsiveness:

in addition to revisiting the sling, i have been experimenting with the "abdominal external prostate massage" described here:

the feelings of acceleration i got from the Mayfield's sling were somewhat similar to the final step of the abdominal massage where you stretch your floor by pinching down your sides above your hip bone. the sling has other things going on, which is the muscular tension from holding the position. but, the stretching principle applies...
