Here is the review which I sent to Aneros.com several weeks ago about Tempo. They have not posted yet it on their web site:

"I purchased the unisex Aneros Tempo just before Thanksgiving 2013. When I used it for the first time a week later, the result was instantaneous in that it caused a quantum leap in my Aneros sessions. I found that Tempo began toning and strengthening my anal musculature wonderfully. It inserts easily and you can sit with it inserted comfortably. Since then, Tempo stars in most my sessions. I heartily recommend this model."

I have yet to purchase Njoy's Pure Plug (Medium size), but there was an Aneros member who also enjoyed it along with Tempo.

Personally I think Tempo is heavenly!

I purchased both Tempo and Aneros Peridise Full Set (four sizes of the Peridise) from Amazon in mid November 2014. I used the Peridise for a few weeks, but Tempo won out. However, I hope to go back to Peridise soon and experience once again its delicate, action. You can get the Aneros Peridise Full Set at a bargain price at Amazon.

How big is the tempo in relation to the peredise models?

Just now I compared my Tempo with the all the four Peridise models which I have in the Aneros Peridise Full Set. The Tempo is a little longer (by perhaps a quarter inch) than the four Peridise models and a great deal heavier.

The specs on Tempo are as follows:

• Tip Width: 7/8 inches
• Upper Knob: 5/8 inches
• Lower Knob: 1/2 inches
• Insertable Length: 3 3/4 inches

As BGDC said, the specs on the Peridise are very similar, same tip width for example (but the tip section is a little longer)...and yes, the Tempo is a little longer overall as well. The main difference is the density of the material. Stainless steel is wonderfully conductive when it comes to heat and cold. This property opens up some unique possibilities for the intrepid Aneros user!

Thanks for the advice. I will soon be adding a Tempo to my armory of tools. I've evperimentex with glass toys and they are nice but I am intrigued by stainless for the weight. Both toys, tempo and Pure plug get tremendous reviews.

I too, have the 4 piece Peridise set and enjoy them very much.

I'm confused, some sites selling the tempo here state it is "the largest aneros model" ?r

No, absolutely not. It is very similar to a Peridise but stainless steel. The Progasm is the largest Aneros tool. Where are you reading that Tempo is large?

forgive my ignorance but because of its weight surly if you're lying on your back it won't make contact with the prostate, I've it just falls back away from it?

Tempo does a number of tasks for my Aneros practice:

-- Nice to add some spice to my life during an Aneros Chat session-- reminds me of what feelings other members might be experiencing.
-- It just barely touches my prostate so it's great to check out my motivation for an Aneros Prostate session and spike my mental arousal. (sometimes, once Tempo is in place my prostate will say, "gimme more")
-- As an anal-only toy to build in-voluntaries in the lower anal canal. Those usually radiate downward into my Quads and outward into my Glutes. Fully developed those involuntaries become a cyclic action in the outer sphincter and most rearward PC sub-group.
-- I enjoy a posture that causes the tip to share contact with my lower prostate and my pudential nerve bundle. That adds some penis sensations to the anal and prostate stim.

A few things to remember:
-- Since most Tempo action is in the Anus and anal canal there's no need for a complex prep. Just a dab of a thick lube (Petroleum Jelly or Vegetable shortening) and I'm good to go. This tool is easy to clean after the session and the mirror-like surface is totally sanitary.
-- Pre-warming the Tempo offers a new experience compared to plastic anal toys or steel wands and plugs.
-- Be sure to read the complete instructions that are packed with Tempo. Before insertion, do a few sets of Kegels to loosen up your PC groups and anal canal. Member @isvara posted his Tempo warm up and it's a winner ! Consider this analogous to doing some stretching before a jog or bike ride.

The Tempo and Peridise products are not true prostate devices. While it is possible to have some tangential prostate contact in certain positions when they are fully inserted, these models were really designed for anal stimulation. As Rook said (above) "most of the action is in the anus...". So yes, if you're lying on your back you would not expect much if any prostate contact. If you have the Tempo fully inserted and you're on all-fours, you can expect to feel some prostate engagement.

I have the Njoy pure wand. It is a very heavy toy, like 20 oz I think, but it has a nice angle for prostate stiulation. It is not even close to being hands free and one drawback is that your hand will tire with prolonged use. It is great for prostate massage when I Jack cause it gives me a very intense traditional orgasm that way. And as an aside stainless is very easy to clean after use. It doesn't stain or smell ever.

I understand this however i find it ironic that the most prostate response I've ever had has not come from a prostate massager but the 'anal play' devices i.e. the peredise series. So the function seems to be somewhat, at least in my case, irrelevant?

however if the tempo sort of 'sits low' away from the prostate perhaps its one to avoid by myself?

I have the njoy pure wand and pure plug. I went with a large for the plug. It is slightly larger (head) than the progasm. It's much easier to insert and clean. Movement is excellent and you should sit and rock on it.

The wand is great. The larger side takes me some time to get in but for direct pressure there is nothing that can beat it. It just can get uncomfortable trying yo position yourself with it.

Both SS toys are used more than my Aneros. I've said it before that I wont get another Aneros unit unless it is stainless. So easy to insert and clean. Just don't drop it and it'll outlast you.

The fact is that it is possible to have P-waves and non-ejaculatory orgasms without any prostate contact whatsoever. Mantak Chia's method for example involves, edging, anal contractions, belly breathing and mental focus. KSMO involves the use of sound, breathing and mental focus. In short there are many paths to the same place. Working with the Peridise involves the use of subtle anal contractions, breathing and mental focus. Many men have reported having very powerful orgasms with these devices (I'm one of them). So it's not ironic that you would respond well to the Peridise. It's to be anticipated that some men respond better to one device vs. another....that's why Aneros has a wide range of product to suit all tastes!

I ordered one based off of your excellent review. I just received it yesterday. The finish is amazing! I'm excited to try it and I may have an opportunity do try it this evening. Can you describe how you use your Tempo? Do you use a "Do nothing" approach or do you use contractions?

I am glad that your order of Tempo has arrived and plan to use it tonight. You will find that Tempo inserts very easily into your anus and that you can sit with it inserted without any discomfort. That is how I use Tempo generally, sitting with it inserted at my PC.

I suggest that you use the "Do nothing" approach and let it work in its own way. You will find that it works rhythmically, toning and strengthening your anal musculature. See what happens. You will be amazed. Also you can experiment with anal contractions which I have found to amplify the rhythm of Tempo!
