SR and bladder control

I've been doing semen retention for a few years now. Not like, all in one long stretch. I break from it every now and again just because I have that moment of "Does everything still work? Its been so long I don't remember". And yeah, there's been some loss of function since I started. Erections are no trouble, but strength of ejection is decidedly less. I guess I need to keep up with kegels more.

But the thing I only just put together was the coincidence of SR with an issue in bladder function. It's not incontinence, mind you. It's more like, that constant feeling of "I didn't get everything out" thirty seconds right after I go. I'll spend five minutes standing in front of the stall waiting for something to happen before I realise it won't. This feeling exacerbates when I have an aneros or something else in.

If I masturbate once or twice a day for a few days, this feeling goes away. So definitely the prostate swelling up and pressing on the bladder. Is there an easy way to mitigate this? Or is it just something I have to deal with if I want to maintain rewiring?

Funny you mention this. I only started in early June. Aneros has helped to eliminate about 80% of my porn viewing. Also SR has been something I've tried. No where near as long as you but it's not that difficult for me. I noticed after about 10 days in it seemed to affect my urination a little bit. I started to notice a incomplete emptying of my bladder. Which was confirmed by more frequent visits to the bathroom. There's nothing wrong with my prostate according to my doctor. When I fell off the wagon and hard booted ( ejaculated ) my urination returned back to normal. No incomplete feelings.
