why doesn't someone ban this person CrarpacivaBag ?
There is always one that slips the net. Could someone explain how all those words in a post are supposed to sell somthing? When i search for porn sometimes i get pages full of what looks like this "spam".
That's the one I was talking about earlier when I suggested that we need a little button to flag posts and make the admin aware of them.
Guys,
I hate SPAM as much as you guys do. In order to help the nice folks at Aneros keep this little room in their house tidy and free of unwelcome, uninvited visitors, we need to politely inform them of the presence of these pests. The Aneros company has created and maintains this Forum for us. They also allow us a great deal of freedom to express our opinions and thoughts without censorship. I think we have an obligation to make them aware of the little messes these cyber interlopers sometimes create so they can employ the appropriate security personnel to escort the rabble from the house. Just drop them an email ( @aneros.com">support@aneros.com ), to let them know about the problem and I’m fairly certain they’ll look into resolving any issues you may have.
It appears that this “CrarpacivaBag” entity has found a new way to get around some of the existing filters and append posts to already established threads. I have already informed support about this and they have brought the issue to the attention of their IT service partners for resolution.
To All,
I made the webmaster aware of the one in the "sticky" section the day that it appeared. Unfortunately, he's been out of town for the last several days. I know that this will be taken care of as soon as he returns. In the meantime, more has appeared in the body of the forum... Radio Polythylene. Despite their best efforts with regard to spam, I suspect that this will be an ongoing problem, most likely a minor one, but a continuing one nonetheless.
To answer Evil Zombie's question, this username will undoubtedly be locked out, but new names are easy to generate. As Rumel said, our vigilance is one way of helping to stem the tide.
BF Mayfield
banning his isp will stop it
What is the purpose of spam may i ask?apart from it being obviously annoying.
Hi Everyone,
Thanks to rumel and b mayfield for letting us know about the spam. We'll be addressing it this week. It is pretty annoying, isn't it?

Hi Support,
Any way you can deal with that having to log in and out twice issue while you are at it? Talk about annoying!
Thanks for all your help.
I never have the problem of having to log in and out twice on this website, but I experienced it at random on other websites when I used to use IE6. Never happened since using Mozilla Firefox. It might have something to do with security settings or cookies.

Buster this is a classic symptom with IE of having too many cookies. Clear some out (best to clear ALL of them out and start over). The symptom is likely to be cured then.
Hi Joe,
I can have this problem right after I clear all my cookies, browsing history, etc. I think the problem might be more associated to something that BoP had referred to in another post that I was hoping that Support might look into:
Well double login problem is the one I am familiar with for sure, had some pain in the nech few years a go on one of the websites I was managing. That problem has to do with cookies configuration and in fact new post id generation can be related to that as well.
here is a link to tested solution for 2.xx version.
