I purchased my Helix a month or so ago. Get to have a session on my days off however not realizing any sensations or p-waves. Usually get frustrated and finish with a super-t about 30 minutes into the sessions. I have adopted the do-nothing method should I be doing something different.
I was one of the resident slo-pokes here (about five months from first insertion until I had a genuine payback of pleasure). As many others will say, deep relaxation is fundamental to sensing the pleasures of prostate massage and the propagation of p-waves.
I found deep meditation and relaxed breathing supportive of my path. I began to measure my relaxation by the 'looseness' of my eyeballs in their sockets and how 'loose' I was just letting the Helix 'float' inside me. Relaxation had to be accompanied by activation of the sensory nerve endings along my prostate.
Never give up! blessings.... rook
You probably won't be able to sense anything just yet, but yeah - just keep doing it every couple of nights and bit by bit, something new should happen.
It'll be tough since the anticipation and excitement of using the Aneros can often work against you. Try to keep an open mind and not get caught up on whether something is happening or not. If anything does - great, but if it doesn't it's no big loss. There's always next time.
It's not until recently that I realised the Aneros is the result of sexual energy and not the provider of.
Moreover, it's about focus (at least for me it is). If you feel something good arising, focus your mind on it - or where it's coming from (This doesn't have to be abdomen, PC muscles or prostate - it can be pictures or movies too). Don't get afraid and do your best not to break it. You know you're progressing if you feel tingling sensations from your pelvic or leg regions.
Newto...I've owned my first one for 8 years...I've been an off and on user since. However I've got my sights set on the super o now...just follow the advice on here...after a few months if you're still getting nothing then take a close look at the model you bought and ponder what you need from your second model...longer/shorter/fuller feeling/more movement...etc. I've got the MGX...which I think was the first model. However bought the Vice a few months back and truly been a different experience...however I should have gotten the Prograsm, because I never use thevibe.
DarkEngine is exactly on target here in my opinion. The "it's about focus (at least for me it is). If you feel something good arising, focus your mind on it - or where it's coming from" is amazingly accurate. Having an active and aware mind, while having a totally relaxed and peaceful body, is the ticket to wonderful things.
Are you all saying that it's a matter of relaxing and doing nothing?
I've had pleasurable feelings (although no super-o's) but I find they always come as the result of me performing PC and anal contractions and holding them.
That is how I started with manual contractions and I did get some pleasure from it...but nothing close to what I get when I truly learned to relax and just focus on what I was feeling. Honestly I think it's natural, because you have to train those muscles as well as your mind to know what it's feeling. What I'd recommend is to continue those contractions without the Aneros often throughout the day...then every few days use the Aneros and start with some light contractions for a few minutes and then relax and focus. If there's nothing after 30 minutes don't get discouraged just keep up your routine of contractions during the day and try itagain in a few days.

Not always - the anal contraction /w paced breathing works too. I don't do this one if only because once the anal sensations kick in the PC muscles quickly will too, which then causes the penis to steal the show.
When I do nothing but relax like normal, p-waves just start building. Just like that. I just continue to stay still and limp, trying to not move a muscle. It'll often have a point where the sensations stop building up but if I focus enough with some breathing pace, it'll carry bit by bit.
Which is why wet-dreams make sense now. Sexual thoughts are floating around whilst the body is still - because muscles aren't distracting the feelings they are freely floating throughout the body and build to such an extent that precum occurs.
