Had my aneros for quite a few months, but only made time for practice every now and then. Been trying more lately and I finally feel like I've made some progress after quite a few sessions.

Anyway, I have finally identified the "P-Wave" sensation. I have had some success with relaxing and getting it to come back. It will stay for several seconds, but I am currently unable to keep it continuously. I'm not sure if it is because I can't control my muscles well enough, or if I just lose my relaxation some and it goes away.

Does the P-Wave sensation expand to the rest of the body and bring the orgasm? What is the next step from here? I read B-Mayfield said that a completely new sensation comes after this. However.. I guess I'm just wondering if that comes from the P-Wave, some other feeling, or if I will just suddenly feel different?

Adam,

You’ve been away for quite awhile, but of course you’re always welcome back here.
It is good you have identified the “P-wave” sensation, I think it is very normal for P-waves to ebb and flow in intensity, the term itself (waves) implies a non-continuous state of pleasure. There will be periods of intense high pleasure (wave crests) and periods of low pleasure (wave troughs), so please don’t expect to maintain some kind of continuous level of pleasure, that doesn’t seem to be possible, for me anyway.
Because we are all unique individuals, how our bodies manifest the pleasure waves will also be unique. Two different men may experience a Super-O in very different ways, one may have full body convulsions and loud vocalizations, while the other may have the “calm seas of orgasm” experience with little or no muscular spasms or vocalization, yet both are experiencing very intense pleasure for many minutes at a time.
In response to your question : “Does the P-Wave sensation expand to the rest of the body and bring the orgasm?” You’ve got two questions there. The P-waves in my experience may or may not expand to the rest of the body, sometimes they are more localized and occur in only parts of my body. The other part of that question is kind of a chicken or egg question; which comes first : Are P-waves generated by orgasms? Are orgasms generated by P-waves? Are they mutually independent? I am not convinced there is a definitive answer to that question, they are certainly interconnected phenomena.
I’ll leave it to B. Mayfield to explain what he meant by a completely new sensation coming after? As to suddenly feeling different, well, that is difficult to predict, after my first Super-O I certainly felt different, it seems my world perspective changed. How it will be for you? Who knows?

Adam,

I don’t know if you are familiar with the relatively new feature to the Aneros site called the WIKI (debuted in March), it is tabbed on the top of this page. This was created in response to a need to provide a consolidated knowledge base, which was gleaned from years of posts to this Forum. I think you will find it to be a valuable resource about the use of the Aneros devices.
In particular, I encourage you to read the section titled “A Journey (through the backdoor)”, see - http://wiki.malegspot.com/index.php?title=Getting_Started#A_Journey_.28through_the_backdoor.29 there it discusses P-waves, arousal and areas to focus upon.
