Been using the SGX for a number of months, probably around 6 ish? I do feel I'm getting some sensations on the prostate, but thought I'd step it up a notch or two by jumping into a helix. The helix is just a tad bigger, a tad longer, and is supposed to lean a bit more forward to put more pressure against the prostate, or so I read.. But after purchasing one, and giving it my first go 'round, it felt less stimulating that the sgx. Is the helix just not for me then, or is the sensation so different that I'm just not recognizing it hitting the prostate? I'm a bit confused.
I find the helix the worst out of all the models. May try it again soon, but it's yielded the least results for me.
I was doing most of my initial rewiring with the Helix and found it to be good. Didnt feel anything with it for quite a few sessions.
Depends on how you are using it, if enough lube etc.
It's just different. Not better, not worse. It works well for some, not so much for others. Sometimes it works better for me than at other times. Lately, I've been enjoying the Eupho Syn, but I always return to my helix at times.

So far I have the Helix Syn, Maximus, Progasm and Tempo. The Helix and Tempo are by far my favourites. For me, the size of the Progasm is quickly numbing. The Maximus is great for a change, but the Helix is certainly the toy that is most likely to produce results. It's so incredibly subtle. It has taken me like 1½ year to get to this point though. The journey continues!

The helix is not subtle, it's huge! You kidding me?
I guess this is an expensive experiment then? LOL It ain't cheap buying one model after another trying to find that "one for you". Unless I've got the wrong attitude about it. I'll give it more of a chance.

A lot of users on here are people with stable jobs and lives. I don't regret any of my aneros purchases, they all come into play at different times, and they've helped me learn.
That said, you can definitely get pretty far in your journey with just one device. Personally, I think my different aneros purchases added much variety, which for me made it all more interesting.
To answer your original question, I believe the SGX and Helix address subtly different anal anatomies. In this case, it might simply be that the SGX is the better choice for you. However, it is also very likely that you just have to get used to the Helix.

I suppose that is true. For me, it just fits incredibly well, and once I'm fully relaxed and getting into it, I can't even feel it anymore. The same cannot be said for the Maximus or Progasm. I have to admit I have considered getting the Eupho Syn. It's been a while now since I splurged on a new toy, and the Eupho speaks to me on a different level.
Well, I will say this, so far, I'm not regretting any purchases. Perhaps I'm just getting impatient. I'll be playing with each for quite a while yet, and perhaps the best is yet to come. LOL
My experience has been that once I got the hang of things and began to experience multiple amazing orgasms, I had similar results from any other model I tried. Sensations and pressure points are different but the pleasure equally outstanding. In the beginning I searched between models, hoping one would be the ticket. In retrospect, actually just using my helix would have been as useful since I was the determining factor not the particular model. Learning to relax and enjoy was the key, not whether I was using an MGX or a Helix for example.

This is so true. I've simply found that the variety in toys helps a great deal with keeping up motivation.
I initially bought the Helix syn. After 5 months with only swesome feeling but no O's then, I got a Maximus and an Eupho.I first tried the Eupho, it was not good. Then the Maximus which really filled me and was OK.
I went back to the Helix one session that was OK, then back to the Eupho (the smallest of the three and WOW in heaven!
The smaller one moves the most and provides an incredible ride.
I suggest to keep on working with each of your toys.
