Hi all

I have prostatitis and I also own an aneros SGX which unfortunately I am not able to use very often because my prostate is very very sensitive most of the time

So just today I find out about the peridise, and that it can work to produce super o's WITHOUT putting much pressure on the prostate

Basically I am looking to get super o's WITOHUT putting much pressure at all on my prostate

Do you guys think that the peridise might be my solution??

thanks!!!

nervetweak,

It is unfortunate that you suffer from prostatitis and are hyper sensitive there but there's hope.
The Peridise model is much less aggressive in its stimulation of the prostate as compared to the other Aneros models. IMHO, yes, it “might be” a good solution for you. The Peridise has received many favorable reviews of its effects with which I would agree. Of course the only way you will know is to take the chance, purchase and try it out for yourself.

It caused me to have a handsfree Super T (ejaculation), so yes, I would say it touches the prostate slightly.

so then compared to the sgx and the mgx how much pressure does the peridise put on the prostate on average??

thanks

nervetweak,

For me, I'd guestimate the pressure exerted on the prostate is no more than 10% the intensity of a MGX model. Obviously variations in mens anatomy will affect others differently.

Hi nervetweak, and all,

Maybe another issue would be the Peridise size. If you are thinking about getting a Peridise, you may want to also go with the Pro set as it has the smallest of the Peridise and is only 16mm in size.
I know I don't really feel much pressure on the prostate if any... like rumel has said, no more than 10%, and with the smallest Peridise, maybe 2 or 3 %.

I would hope a Peridise would be ok for you, and turn any pain into real pleasure !

well....................I finally got the peridise tried it out.............. and

what do you know no pain!!

also my sgx no longer gives me much pain either

I think this has a lot to do with my prostatitis progressivly getting better

now....................to make the pleasure start

I had some nice feelings but nothing to special yet added some nipple stim

I have some good experience excercising my pelvic muscles

but I can't contract my PC muscles too hard because that gives me problems

so time to experiment with more gentle anal based contractions

I've read in other threads that gentle contractions are the way to go anyway.
They say trying too hard is one of the good ways to get nowhere.

Good luck with it all!

nervetweak-

are you sure that you have prostatitis, ie, actual inflammation of the prostate? how was it diagnosed? did you have a biopsy?

i ask because in some cases, the real problem can be muscular tension in the pelvic floor.

i learned much from the book A Headache in the Pelvis.

you might want to check it out. the theory is that the pain is referred from knots in the muscles down there. it can be relieved by relaxation exercises and internal massage done by a physical therapist, or by you.

I think my condition is a combination of the two factors

by this i mean that i think i have A. actual prostate problems and also B. pelvic muscle tension/spasm problems

I say this because my symptoms have indicated both and also the therapies I have used to target

prostatitis proper as well as pelvic floor muscle tension have both helped me although in different ways

I have taken strong antibacterial, and antiinflamatory herbs that helped wih my prostatitis

I also have a WEAK urine stream, and much of the time cloudy urine. the cloudy urine occurs less

now after taking antibacterial/antiinflammatory therapies.

I have a theory that the PC muscle spasms caused urine to reflux into my prostate causing

infections/inflammation/problems there. I have taken care of a good deal of the pain/inflammation i

used to get but now i want to get rid of the spasms

Yes the book a headache in the pelvis is definitely on my reading list for the future as is getting a

crystal wand to try and free up residual stagnation/tension.

Now I know about Proctalgia Fugax which is a form of Levator Ani Syndrome. I felt these words should be in this post. I have Protalgia Fugax but I didn't find out what it was until this year. The Aneros models, Peridise, and Crystal Wand have helped me a great deal with that.
