Slightest Touch Electrode Position Preference?

So I've got the Slightest Touch coming in tomorrow and have been reading the forums and an Aneros pdf file I found on the internet (might be an old version). There seems to be a variety of combinations on places you can put the electrodes, so I wanted to find out what everyones favorite combination with the Aneros was?

i prefer the lower back position. i had a stronger response to that than to the back of the knees. i didn't want to put the electrodes any closer to my crotch than that, so i am not considering the perineal position.

here are some hints from my experience:
1. be patient. it is subtle. you may or may not feel much the first time.

2. use a very low setting. i found that going to the tingle and backing it down till the tingle goes away is too high. at that level, if you pay attention, you may feel that it is revving you too much. every body is different. but, for me, i usually have it so that the notch on the dial is only about 1/8 of an inch from off, ie, about half way between off and the center position.

3. keep the pads from getting dusty or equiv. definitely wash the area with soap and warm water first to de-grease your skin.

4. i ignored the 45 minute limit they suggest. they are just being over-cautious. that is another good thing about the low level.

5. a good thing about the lower back position is that you have less of a mess with the wires.

6. take a "just relax" approach.

7. when it kicks in it will feel like a subtle glow of pleasure in your balls, and like a "tugging" bringing you around again to more p-waves or orgasms, whatever level you are at

let us know how it goes

Is that both electrodes on the lower back? One on each side of the spine?

I'm also a bit hesitant to consider the perineal position myself.

Thanks for the input!

the lower back position is as B Mayfield describes in the .pdf

both pads on the lower back, couple inches up from the crack, and about six inches apart.

With regard to the perineal pad position, all I can tell you is that I used at one time for many months straight and never suffered any ill effects from it. No numbness, reduction of sensation , or irritation. It is important to remember that sub-threshold levels are to be used to receive the optimum benefit from this device. This applies to any of the recommended positions.

If you are considering the perineal placement it may require a little shaving down there, depending on how hairy you are. If not, pad removal may be a little uncomfortable. Also see the pdf for cautions about keeping the pads dry.

I'm more hesitant due to the amount of lub that sometimes leaks onto the area, might be a hassle trying to keep it clean.

Also, another question. After reading the manual again (found on the internet, might be an old one, haven't gotten my shipment yet), it mentions cutting the pads for the knees and penis/perineal areas, but it makes no mention of the back. Should I just leave the electrodes uncut for the back?

The perineum is the only area where trimming the pad is a necessity. With respect to the area becoming wet with lube...it's true it can be an issue, but not an insurmountable one. In my case, I used less lube and made sure that I dried off the excess EVERYWHERE prior to introducing the pad. When the Aneros is inserted first it's also necessary to pull it out slightly (to move the abutment tab away from your perineum) so that the pad can be properly placed. Thereafter, I never had a problem with it.

As an alternative, you can start with the Slightest Touch alone. In that case there are no moisture issues to contend with. at least initially. After 15 to 20 mins, carefully introduce a more modestly lubricated Aneros. However, if you're still really concerned about it, by all means go with one of the other locations.

It arrived today and just tried it out for about 20 minutes, could definitely notice the effects after the first 10 minutes. Unfortunatelly I have some sore muscles from last night, so I didn't want to try an Aneros combination, but I think both of them will be an interesting combination. I only used the two back positions because I didn't feel like cutting for the perineum, was too impatient to try it out 😛

The stickiness of the pads was unexpected, but I guess I don't have to worry about them losing their adhesiveness quickly.

All in all, I'm happy with this purchase, even if it doesn't do anything for my Aneros sessions. Using it just by itself will be nice, especially when using other non-aneros techniques (KSMO, Deer, etc..) when I'm too sore.

Hi Ashlen!

I vote for the back of the knees!

Although, I no longer use a S.T., the back of knees and the inner thighs were my choice. Also I cut the pad size down, for more targeted concentrated stim...

Later, Hlaser

Whelp, finally got around to using it with my Helix and was quite the experience. Felt a constant level of pleasure I had never sustained (usually just kind of peaked close to the same level and dropped down in past sessions). I didn't have a mini-o, but I'm starting to think that is just something my body needs to learn to do, rather than reaching a certain level of pleasure, so I'm not disappointed.

I'm not sure how effective it was in general, since I've been building up anticipation and I used my Helix instead of Eupho (which I've used the last 4 times), but whatever it was, it was a very nice combination. I'm having a little trouble typing because of it 😛

I'll have to try the other pad placements next time.

Edit: One question I've been wondering, do the electrolyte drinks make a big difference? I'm guessing Gatorade or Powerade would work as well?

Gatorade or any good sports drink work pretty much the same (avoid the ones with caffeine though). The reason they came up their own product had more to do with giving people a way to avoid all of the sugar.
