I had a very good session last evening. Before the session, I saw some "adult" television that wasn't particularly arousing. Immediately before the session, I reviewed some still erotic photos, but they didn't seem unusually impactful. As the session got underway, the Progasm inspired shaking pretty soon. That was followed within maybe 20 minutes by serious shaking and gyrations. Before I knew it, things were rockin' and rollin'. Several times during the session, I had a lull, then the process would start up again and at times intensify. Great! This is working.
Although this was effective and I could often let myself go as far as the movements would take me, I couldn't shut off my mind from converting thoughts into words. At one point, I was able to throw myself into the process and let go without frontal dialogue. But, that was an exception. It was marvelous being able to recognize and appreciate the difference between the broader implications of the Progasm led annul-focused thrusting and twitching and the really subtle movements of a device the size of the Progasm against and around the prostate. Any ideas on shutting the noise off?
Boot, I believe shutting the noise of to be fairly impossible. I think what you need is to learn how to unconciously ignore your thoughts and let them come and go as they will, without concious reaction. Shutting the noise off is in itself a command of the brain, and therefore unacheivable in principle. Step aside from your thoughts, and let them flow freely. You can practise this in meditation and than bring it to your aneros sessions (it will be alot easier to learn how to do without the aneros first).
self hypnosis is another way to learn how to deal with mind noise. Like @wired said, you cant shut it off, but simply learn to let it flow and ignore it.
Wired & ineverknew: Thanks for the posts. I'll try what you suggest.
