Should I get a Helix if I already have a Maximus and Progasm?

I bought the Maximus first, about 6 months ago and shortly after purchased the Progasm Ice. I like them both and get some good sensations. No Super O or dry O's yet though. I was wondering if I should try a Helix or if it is too similar to the Maximus? Maybe just keep working with the 2 I have or add another? I'm not sure if the Helix is different enough to get. Thank you for your thoughts.

@wyscot
IMO. You should get a Eupho Classic. I started with a Progasm Classic 4 months ago, and added a Jr a month later. I bought a Eupho Classic around 3 weeks ago. And I'm seriously considering buying a Maximus.

I started with helix. I would keep going with maximus if I knew what I know now.Suggest maybe get a set of Peridise. I know that seems left field but I may help strengthen your PC muscles.
The fact that you dont get dry Os yet means you are only at the start of your journey so chopping and changing prostate massager's will not help in teaching your body to move the aneros correctly. It is wise to give it the same tool each time until it learns how to drive.
I think Aneros jedi users will agree about using the same tool.

Thank you @Pspotsquirter I'll take a look at the Eupho. I think you will like the Maximus if you like the progasm.

Thanks @braveneworld. That makes sense. I just had the weird feeling like I was "missing out" or something. I'm actually happy with the sensations I'm getting so if no Super O happens I'm ok with that. I would like to experience dry o's though at some point. I'll give my Maximus more time. I have looked at the Peridise sets but wasn't sure how they would fit in with all of this. I will look at them again.

Hi @wyscott,

I began my sessions with Helix Syn and then afterwards Maximus and both Progasm Classic and Progasm ICE to my lineup of Aneros tools. I just love these three models.

However, I also purchased Helix Classic a good six months before I started my Aneros sessions. My Helix Classic sat mostly unused for a good 16 months before it joined my regular lineup. Wow, the Helix Classic is just amazing! You can get Helix Classic at Amazon for about $35.

Eupho Syn is fine too. I use it in most of my sessions.

What I am saying that each Aneros tool has individual qualities which one can savor. I just love how several of my Aneros tools can work together and give me a real big bang in sessions.

However, I get real horny when I think of Maximus and Progasm Classic. 😉

Thanks @BigGlansDC. Cool, I haven't tried using both of my models in the same session. In fact, the reason I purchased the Progasm Ice was because I didn't like the Maximus at first. I used the Progasm for several sessions and then retried the Maximus and liked it after that. Weird I know. I think I will end up getting a Helix or Eupho, but I'll give the Maximus some more time before switching them again. I saw the good price on Amazon which is why I was considering a Helix.

@wyscott No your not missing out, It just takes time for you body to learn. Using the same tool all the time is Good advice past down to me from the Jedi of jedi's. Which I have now past on to you.I would consider myself and very advanced user but not a jedi. It has been a long intense journey for me to get to where I am today.
Dont get me wrong the helix is a good device So is the maximus.
Maximus is may favourite followed by progasm ice.
Eupho is the device I had my first super O with but I did not buy eupho until I had put in the hard yards with the helix. I went Helix then Progam ice then bought eupho. I only bought progasm and eupho after about 9 months of intensive use of the helix. I was injured and bed ridden for a year so aneroses every day some times for most of the day. The point is there is no easy way (for most of us) just put in the practice and you will reap the rewards in the end.
I have been at it for about 3 years now and have all the toys from helix upwards excluding syns versions.
Everyone that starts this practice wants to get there quick but reality is slow and steady will get you there the best way.
Look up in the wiki the Aneros Milestones. There is no time limit but it is helpful in knowing where you are in your journey. NOTE "Your Journey" Everyones is different!
Keep up the good work never give up

Thanks @braveneworld. It's been a slower process for me, but an enjoyable one. I won't stop. I'm liking it too much. I guess, reading through this awesome forum, that I started getting the "grass is greener with the other Aneros syndrome".

I started with the Maximus and thought maybe I should have started with the Helix or the Eupho after reading the forum. I am starting to see that it doesn't matter as much which one you start with as long as you stick with it and get adjusted. I do like the Maximus now so I will stay on course with it and see where it takes me.

I didn't know that it was advisable to stay with one model for awhile so I'm glad I started this thread. I was looking for one kind of answer but ended up getting even better answers. You guys are great! Thank you.

The longer i am with Aneros (4 years now) and read the forum i realize that we are all different, yet perhaps more alike than unalike. "Different strokes for different folks." Some have their favorites, some like me, have had almost all of them, and found them all good. At one time the HelixSyn was my favorite, but i no longer have it, having given all of mine away. I find the 2 Peridise i have just great, and i am out of the collector's syndrome. I agree mostly with braveneworld that the important thing is perhaps not so much the model as sticking with the process.

Thanks for your response @aneros_user13872. I haven't tried the Peridise yet, but they look very interesting. I may order them even though I'm going to stick with the Maximus for the time being. I don't think using the Peridise would interfere with Maximus use because they do different things? Thanks again.

I just started using the Helix again, after moving on to Maximus, Progasm and Vice. While I love the other toys, I'm having a newfound respect for the Helix. It's a good device, and I'm finding it can go head to head with the other models I have. I don't think I'd give any of them up. Though, if I had to keep only one, it would be the Vice.

@LICNYCgay,you might find that the way forward for you now would be the Eupho!

It's a bit like a streamlined Maximus.

The more experience I have with the devices, the more I believe less is more. The smallest Peridise takes me further than the Progasm Jr, which is the biggest one I own. I will probably do the Eupho next. The vibrations and movement of the smaller ones do more for me than the direct in yo face pressure of the bigger ones....

Well, the Eupho gave me my first Super-O. Eupho was my second model after the MGX. Also have had good times with both Maximus and Progasm, but then got a Helix. I have the best time with the Helix - it charges me up quicker than any other model and almost always gives me Super-Os. I'd recommend the Helix next, then after a few months consider adding the Eupho for a different experience. If I had it to do all over again, I would have gotten the Helix first. It's definitely my "old reliable" model!

I concur... I followed the general advice and my intuition and thus started with Helix then added the Eupho. Would I have to do it again I'd the same. I think the only thing missing in my super team is the advanced peridise set. That should then be enough for my lifetime.

The Peridise is pretty awesome. I'm getting the Eupho so I can compare the 2 experiences

@Pommie Maybe... I've heard grey things about eupho, not just from you.

After a year and a half with the Helix Syn, I got the Progasm, Jr. It's a different experience, alright, and I'm not sure which I like better. The Helix Syn moves more easily and I have no issues with it in all night or sitting at a desk (but usually slumped in the chair or over on my side and/or with a doughnut shaped pillow or rolled up towel). I wouldn't do that with the Progasm, Jr., and when I've fallen asleep with it, I haven't felt as good in the morning as I do with the Helix Syn. But, it's all a learning experience, and, as almost everyone in our community has said (in so many words):, it's the journey that's as pleasureable and exciting as the "destination", if not more so...

When I've plenty of time I "pair " Maximus and Eupho-clasic in a split-session routine. Prep, lube then 15 to 20-minutes of deep loosening up with my tailless Maximus.

Then I pull the toy for about 30 or more minutes and do something else, sometimes even a walk or quick shopping trip. After the development of butt-buzz cravings, it's a minor re-lube and the second half-session with Dame Eupho and her "dance of the seven veils."

In contrast my Helix orgasmic sessions are shorter, more direct and not as varied in their results.

I think you'll enjoy the rich variety of sensations and agility you receive.
