Do you feel a beginner should explore anal area with finger, to feel what things are there and understand better his anatomy?

@simplepenguin first, welcome to the forum!   Yes,  for sure,  explore as much as you wish; the more you know about your anatomy, the better success you'll have.

I also strongly suggest you learn about and practice Kegel exercises to strengthen your floor muscles.  The ultimate master on the topic of Kegels is @bigglansdc ; look him up.

Can someone please give some clear instructions on how to feel your prostate with your fingers?

I've tried and the only way I could even get close is to use my thumb (like you were to shake hands with someone, fingers pointing forwards away from you, and thumb sticking directly at 90 degrees), while on the bed, the soft part of my thumb pressing towards my prostate. Even then, my wallnut-shaped-organ was nowhere to be found.

@lonewolf8 , I don't know your size and since everyone's anatomy is different (I'm 6’4" 175 lbs with somewhat long fingers), I can only describe what works for me.

From a standing position, I squat straight down with knees sideways (frog style) and butt cheeks almost touching the floor. With my middle finger lubed up, I insert it all the way in, tip facing forward with the rest of my fingers resting on my butt cheeks facing behind me. In this position, I can feel my prostate and its shape (or it's bottom half anyways) at the end of my finger.

Using this method, I sometimes massage my prostate, front to back and sideways to milk it when I don't feel like pulling out my Njoy Wand.

Good luck and good vibes to you.

G

I'm going to try that later - do you not have to bend your wrist a lot so that the soft bit of the finger is facing toward the prostate?

I've simply used my middle finger reaching in front. Seems the most comfortable position I can find, though it does tire my hand out within minutes.

I think that doing this while getting close or crossing over the edge into ejaculatory orgasm is the only reliable way I can get sensation in what I assume is my prostate. As I get close or cross the edge I can feel the sensation spread to where I'm rubbing, and sometimes I let a bit of ejaculate out before crossing into orgasm or full ejaculation. Is this a good way to strengthen the connection to my prostate? Most of my sessions are near duds and I can feel p-waves only semi reliably, usually a bit more after the sessions than during.

No, my wrist is in a comfortable position but as @aneros_user88299 seems to be mentioning, it helps when you're very horny as the prostate is somewhat inflated.

Good luck @lonewolf8

Oh @lonewolf8,  great choice!  My Maxius is one of my favorite go-to unit!  It has girth and reach which is a great combination for me.  It is similar to my Progasm Ice but the base is thinner giving me a very different sensation than the PI.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine!

Happy ride.

Another way which may be more comfortable; stand in front of the bathroom counter and bring up one leg to rest your foot on the counter; voila, butt hole easily accessible to insert your middle finger.

Have fun!

I always lube up and finger myself at the start of every single session I've ever had. Squatting on the floor, I put my right hand between my legs, reach way down, insert my index finger (or you can use your middle finger as @ggringo explained) and I gently tease my anus and make it contract and flex. I spend several seconds doing this until it feels "sexy" to me. I have found that using a finger can sort of "eroticize" your anus and canal and get them really ready for a session and orgasms. I stick my whole finger in and can reach my prostate pretty easily and even feel past it (mine must be somewhat shallow even though I'm 6' tall). I stroke it from side to side, back and forth, all over. I press on it soft and hard, which makes it produce involuntary contractions in my canal while my finger is inside of me. This is very interesting and quite sexy to feel, you really gain a great sense of how strong your anus is and what it actually feels like when it is flexing and loosening. I really only spend about 20-30 seconds on all of this, but its always enough time to really get me going, hot and heavy! Strangely, and I haven't actually thought of this until just right now, I never use my fingers in me again once I've started a session. I have maybe a few times in the last 15 years of sessions and its never done much for me. But maybe I should try my finger again in the middle of a session or later?! Could be fun!

great idea. Every day when I take a shower I use a bit of lube I keep in the stall and finger myself just to explore.

Starting a session, I insert a finger with coconut oil lube into my rectum but maybe I'll do a bit more than that now, because I like this idea even better! Thank you!
