Hi guys,
I had a great session this morning with part of it devoted to working with Progasm ICE inserted while standing or walking around. I came away from my session with luminous and sweet Aless which lasted throughout the day and continuing as I type my inquiry at 10 p.m. at night just before my bedtime.
Anyway I have been having some amazing sessions lately because now I come to my sessions sexually aroused. A question arose in my mind this morning. What happens to your prostate, when you are sexually aroused or cocked? Does the prostate become engorged in a pleasurable way?
I would love to hear your answers and insights. Thanks!
Oh man, ever since re-wiring can feel prostate swell and heat up as my arousal grows. By the time finish prep it's begging for toy to pleasure it.
It feels like its swollen right up and so hyper sensitive that a stiff breeze can set me off! A good workout at the gym, followed by kegel practice on the 15 minute drive home and it feels like it's ready for action. Even with the big Progasm, I now need very little initial relaxing time, and its charged up and ready. After about 5 minutes, there is a very fine vibration up inside, and the Aneros is starting to move. Aless is good but Aneros is much more gooder!
I sometimes feel two conditions. One is when I just have a normal erection, but when I am highly aroused it feels like my prostate is “erect” too and searching for stimulation.
Not sure it becomes engorged,I think it contracts,it has a few functions such as shutting valves to stop urine damaging your mix, producing the seminal fluid for the sperm and it helps pump semen through the urethra, but I read it’s wired into pretty much all our pelvic nerve networks,I guess this is why stimulation of the prostate is pleasurable.
I wish to thank all who have answered my question on sexual arousal and the prostate. I look forward to receiving more thoughtful replies for other guys on my question, such as those from @rumel and @goldenboy. 🙂
A further question on sexual arousal in males, guys who are turned on sexually also experience vasocongestion in their sexual organs. Does the prostate also experience sexual vasocongestion??? Thanks!
I had to look vasocongestion up. It certainly feels like its filled up some space down there. When I insert the helix, I get what feels like contact straight away. If my arousal level is high enough, I get the buzz right away against the helix.
Hope @rumel and @goldenboy come to the rescue, but... who doesn't get a charge from picking a scab, stretching a sore muscle, sticking the tongue in a sore tooth, beating the head against the wall every damn day to make a living? Brain chemistry on some level?
What happens to your prostate, when you are sexually aroused or cocked? Does the prostate become engorged in a pleasurable way?
I believe it does become engorged due to general sexual arousal and it does induce pleasurable sensations in response.
Does the prostate also experience sexual vasocongestion?
I believe it does. Biologically, sexual arousal prepares the body for the act of copulation, and for the male, the ejaculation of sperm. The prostate plays a pivotal role in this process so it makes sense that arousal would also enervate the prostate, increasing blood flow and probably causing engorgement and increased sensitivity to stimuli as well. All my reading to date indicates this to be a typical response. I personally don't detect any physical engorgement but I can detect other subtle sensations and they're impossible for me to describe.
The Aneros massagers capitalize on this arousal phenomenon by taking advantage of the increased prostate sensitivity. By adding additional stimulation directly to the prostate the arousal energy is amplified, contributing to a gradually increasing pleasure wave cycle which may lead to the prostate based orgasms most of us are striving for.
Good Vibes to You !
Thank you, @rumel, for your very illuminating answer to my question on sexual arousal and the prostate. I hope it answers @Shadow66's question as well.
Here is the Wikipedia article on the same matter: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vasocongestion
@BigGlansDC I too basically concur with @rumel in his responses. I unfortunately suffer with blue-balls on a fairly regular basis since I also practice semen retention continuously now. I can't pinpoint the "source" of the vasocongestion, but I know that if I edge or play around too much then don't ejaculate, that is a guaranteed recipe for the BBs within a day or two. My brief online search indicated that yes, the prostate does fill-up with more fluid upon sexual arousal in anticipation of an ejaculation. When I am nearing the end of a current SR "run" I definitely can feel my prostate pulsing more (Aless), perhaps in anticipation of an impending ejaculation.
Almost all of my Aneros sessions now are in the "aroused" state: It only makes sense to me to give my prostate no reason not to orgasm!
Great question @BigGlansDC !
I admit, I'm not well versed on the scientific explanations of the question, nor have I researched the subject on line but the same question had been popping in my mind for a while.
What triggered the same question for me was the fact that when I go to empty my bladder immediately after or even during a good session, the evacuation is slow to begin and I feel some restriction in the urethra. The same applies immediately after ejaculation.
I found my answer (not scientifically but rather the physical way) by dipping my middle finger in lube and plunge it into my anal canal, once immediately after a good edging/ejac. exercise, after a full Aneros session, another instance after a good Aless session and finally a few times first thing in the morning after waking up from an active semi-conscious Aless session in bed. My prostate is easy to find and in each case, I found it to be engorged and sometimes very engorged. The more aroused I was, the more engorged my prostate is.
A few years ago, my doctor sent me for a second blood test, this time with instructions to refrain from any sexual activities for a few days prior and this to get a better PSA reading; possibly related to this question.
I’ve never been so interested in how my body works and how my mind interacts with my body, what makes things tick within the realms of my own self, since discovering the pleasures of prostate play over three years ago. Great information in this post; thank you @rumel and everyone else!
Life is wonderful.
