Interested to hear how often people have prostate sessions? Everyday? Every week? Long,short? Does it affect your process or pleasure attained?

Once you get things dialed up, two short sessions (morning+evening) or one longer session everyday can be maintained for a good while with good results, as long as you have the arousal and energy to fuel them. At some point it becomes a question of how much time you have available and how you want to balance this activity VS your other hobbies.

If you do marathon sessions of 2-3+ hours with a lot of orgasms and big muscles movement, you might well find out that you get your fill with only two sessions a week. Too many in a row, they start to blend together and now matter how good they feel, the novelty wears off, that's where you might plateau. Muscle soreness and recovery will also come in play. 

For a long time, a session Monday, one on Wednesday and a big one on Friday night was the sweet spot for me. Less than 2 sessions a week, I had the feeling that I was missing out on progression or that some of my models didn't get a lot of play time.

You might want to check out the User Poll -> Frequency of Use from your fellow Anerosians. The range of use is well distributed over all periods of frequency. As to duration of sessions check out the User Poll -> How long is just right to ride your Aneros?

As @Zentai noted (with which I agree) too frequent use may lead to a plateauing effect on pleasure generation or even desensitization. I recommend a minimum of one day between sessions to avoid that negative effect.

@rumel thank you,I did read up on them and cast my votes. It’s a real mixed bag,around 25% across the board. I think session frequency can increase if session length is short. I do try to squeeze in A-Less most days,some days I’ve have a couple. But the are usually 10-30 mins long. Not sure I can find the time for the 3 hrs sessions some members partake in.

Usually not more frequently than every other day, oftentimes just twice a week as that is when my roommate works long hour days.  If the opportunity presents itself I might slip in another session here and there, and memorably just recently I had three sessions in two days: I was on a roll and experiencing such wonderful pleasure.  But now I'm reining myself back in and probably won't ride again until Thursday or Friday.

Sessions for me last 1 to 2 hours, usually 1 1/2 hours. This is pretty consistent.

The number of times per week varies, because of weekly or bi-weekly travel. I started my journey when my Naturopath suggested prostate massage to treat prostatitis and he said to do it 3 times per week tops. This evolved to every other day with no more than a one day break.

More recently I can go a week or more without a session. I also have been doing what I call 'binge sessions' where I do 3 or 4 days in a row and also can do couple sessions in one day as well. If I go without for a week, then do just one session, it's often a dud. I've made the most progress when I was consistent with every other day or doing a series of binge sessions.

I no longer do sessions at our primary apartment, because it's an open loft and my girlfriend is home a lot especially since COVID with the lack of places to pee when she's out. Our second apartment is where I do my sessions and because of my travel that leads to the one week+ of no sessions.

Is it bad that I’m having daily sessions. This is my second week with beginner Peridise set and alternating between the two. Usually just relax and ride while working during the day (from home), just slow kegels and rocking in my chair. Eventually I get to point during a break and I lay down and get to more serious riding to some waves of mini Os. I’m finding a continual butt buzz when not inserted, and know I probably need to cut back and not do daily for 3-4 hours, BUT it feels so good. Bought a Helix Trident during the sale last weekend and can’t wait for even more direct prostate stimulation!

@novice60 if it works I say go for it. I do try to squeeze in an A-Less most days,sometimes more than once,though my sessions are short by choice,I like to shoot in and out lol

I am beginning to see the wisdom of spacing out sessions to once or twice per week. I am finding it builds up tension in a good way. It's as if my body is longing for it and stimulated by the thought of it. I have had a lot more pleasure when I wait. 

Maybe it's just where I am in the rewiring process too, but lately as I have been spacing out sessions, I have had a lot more pleasure filled rumblings in the pelvic area.

Always wondered if 2 days a week with Aless in between was too much. On my off days I always do an hr of Aless.  Maybe too much ???

Mine are 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I’ve had some great runs at 3 hrs but not too frequent. I find spacing them out are best for me ...if I don’t I find I become somewhat desensitized to the experience. I also believe  sessions for me feed off the anticipation making them more intense.  I go anywhere from days to a week or more between. My body tells me when to take a break.   Too much of a good thing, aka Helix, can for me make the experience less pleasurable. I throw some aless work in between too.    To each his own!

@BigGlansDC shared a schedule of his that had Monday Wednesday Friday with a possible Saturday thrown in. Kegels also planned out. Knowing again what @Zentai and @rumel posted above about having a buffer day, this makes a good regiment to stick to.
