What I can say right now is that to the best of my comprehension, there are "do-nothingers" and "do-somethingers" and certain guys will certainly be able to do both or mix techniques from both approaches. But if you're mostly a do-nothinger and try an active approach, it will probably not work, and the opposite is true. Plus as an overthinker, I need something to focus on, and it's like a passive approach gives too much room for intrusive thoughts, or boredoms sets in quickly, or some other issues. Since this is already not that easy, a guy needs to play to his strenghts when he can. Both approaches should lead to invols so we are ending up in the same place, just taking different roads, so what you explain regarding contractions should be of interest to everyone.

The reason for this is that I've done sessions (recently ) where I slightly pushed my hips during an aneros session and yes the pleasure was incredible but the feeling didn't seem "self-fulfilling" at the end of the session. Letting the body react at the pace it wants during stimulation gives me that sense of self-fulfillment.
That's an interesting statement. I always say that "A Super-O is a Super-O" and it does not matter all that much how you get there, but there is this other concept : Do we feel satiated or content once we are done ? This could be an important thing to consider. I guess this was part of my obsession with THC-assisted Super-Os and how I could not stop, maybe they were not fulfilling ?

About your question: It's subjective things and also small chemical changes (THC), in your case so it's hard to say but it seems to be the same effect on "non-realization". Remember which session you felt accomplished and how and in which situation this happened you can find clues.

All the above. But it depends on what flavor of Os I get and where I end up, position will also influence things a lot. I'll honestly have to think about it a bit before I can answer.
When I get large muscles involuntaries, like glutes, legs, back arching and abdominal tension, then it feels like PC and sphincter are more supportive rather than really active. It's been a while since I've had a really good session, the last time I got close my sphincter muscles were mostly relaxed or maybe pushing out a bit, and PC muscles were pulsing lightly in a continuous way. I did not feel this was really representative of what I get normally, maybe this was heading towards calm seas.
With longer sessions (multiple hours) there's a point where muscle fatigue comes into play, then the contractions will be different, or at least feel different.
I sat down and tried to think about it. Truth is, my invols come pretty late in the process, and when they kick in then the Super-O is already close, and then I don't worry very much about particular motions. I've said before that I never really tried to separate all the tiny muscle motions, I know what the movement feels like, but I don't always know what I'm actually doing.
For example one clear trigger for me is (I think) both PC and sphincters muscle relaxing somewhat, so it feels like the device is about to slip out, and I do get some outwards movement and often a bit of a push at the sphincter, then the PC contracts, which feels like it's closing the gap or space where the head of the Aneros will go, then the device shoots back in from an anal squeeze. If I can get a handful of those, then it's S-O time. The closest thing when trying to visualize this is a pinball machine shooter rod being pulled back and released.
I play the harmonica (I'm okay-ish but I'm having fun !) and the best teacher online is not only very good at it, he's very solid at explaining the minute details of how open his throat is, what's happening with his jaw and embouchure, how he manages his breath ; and breaking it all down. Lots of guys are good but they have trouble putting it into words, or as it gets more natural they lose track of what they're doing. That's one part where I feel I might be lacking.

That is one of my many wonders ; Invols began (almost) as soon as the toy is inserted. And when they fade, I feel somewhat bored, or discouraged.
Since there's, in general, no more than a score minutes between both events, I came to believe that I should refrain immediate invols and let them come back after a while.

This does not seem right to me.
If you get invols right away, you should try to work with them right away. Hopefully they will blossom into Super-Os. If you don't start with enough arousal, it might be difficult to start a build-up right away, so you might want to see if this is true. Don't block anything, after all, un tiens vaux mieux que deux tu l'auras. (AKA one bird in hand is worth two in the bush). Who knows if invols will come back or not ? Then you have nothing to work with besides that bored feeling...

It can be, for me there is sometimes a moment of *nothing* where everything goes still before the big O, but in those cases where everything goes back to zero and stays there, then it's often the end of the session. There's a lot of trial and error and learning to recognize patterns. Without patience, it's easy to just get inside your own head and start thinking about other stuff, then you're not actually having a session anymore because you are somewhere else. If I find that I'm snapping in and out of the session, then I just quit for the night because from experience, it never works in these conditions. Maybe you'll discover that it's different for you and that things can pick up again after a mental break ?
Seeing your progress I remember my . I experienced (mild) pleasure with aneros for a short period (about 5 minutes) and nothing else happened; and then I resorted to nipples and or masturbation.
For a long time it was like this, I think the game changer was in the difficult restriction I made, the only pleasure I would feel would be just with aneros. I didn't use nipples or masturbation for weeks and then I'd start all over again, a new restriction. At some point this pleasure without any other manual stimulation became lasting and continuous.
Some users here have cited the neural question. The way to easily access pleasure is the penis (which is natural), if we start to feel stimuli in a potentially pleasurable area it will possibly wake up and the brain will start to consider it as a new center of pleasure.
Do sessions with a space of 2 days. Allow only your anus and prostate to feel pleasure, if you are going to make a restriction, do it in a healthy way, that is, do not practice anything sexual for certain periods of time, if you decide that you want to relieve the horny, just do it but restart as soon as you consider it necessary.
Today if I test the Wiki instructions everything works breathing through the abdomen (real movements) sequence of light anal contractions at the beginning of the session (20 or 30 contractions approximately), light permanent contraction (up to 20% of the strength of a continuous anal contraction).
If this helps, one of the first sensations after insertion (for me) is the touch of the product and an increasing comfort in the region (I rarely feel that the prostate is touching, the pleasure is spread) don't be worried about locating the prostate.
Do not idealize what a Super-O is, when it happens you will recognize it ; remember that for some users it may take longer, which is natural. Apparently you're doing everything right. The tip is this , fulfill the necessary requirements and let your body do the rest . Several paths lead to the same place.
Note : Beware of excess sessions as it can also generate a lack of sensitivity (to pleasure)
