Although heightened sensual experiences predominate here, there are indeed secondary health benefits to the Aneros line-up that can be remarkable. Base line statistics: 65, in good health, active competitive open water swimmer. Started Aneros use in mid-Feb this year without much perceptible sensation until about two weeks ago and have hit most of the milestones set forth in the Aneros Wiki.
Yet this entry is about the secondary affect on other annoying, persistent health issues: BPH and peripheral neuropathy (feet) - the latter generally presenting symptoms of nerve damage, pins and needles, numbness in the feet. The benefit to BPH is well documented although my Aneros use followed PAE (prostate shrinking) procedure in April.
As it relates to foot neuropathy, the prostate stimulation and its impact on the central nervous system started in my feet and exactly at the area of the neuropathy symptoms. Over eight years I've tried MD's, surgeons, chiropractors, podiatrists, physical therapists, acupuncturists and Chinese foot massage. Nothing provided relief. For me however, the prostate stimulation provided the Aneros begins in my feet and legs thereby providing stimulation to the exact areas suffering the neuropathy which in turn has reduced the painful, unrelenting symptoms of numbness, pain, pins and needles. I am a skeptic from way back although I've chased all available avenues to try and relieve the foot problem. It appears at this point, the Aneros device is heeling the nerve damage sustained over many years of swimming and running.
So as the Aneros sensual stimulation ramps up during Anerosessions and Aless, my feet, my legs and my prostate are totally engaged and providing otherwise recuperative sensations and relief.
