Newbie here with some incredible over the top experience and now scared for my health. So I got an Helix Syn last week and tried it out for the first time on Thursday night. After reading the wiki and some of the forum posts I knew I had to take it slow and don’t expect too much on my first session. So I went for a 30 minute session. Right away it felt really nice with a warm waves building up from my core down my legs and up to my head. All I got with the Helix inside me was some P-Waves. But shortly after I removed the Helix an exploding firework went off in my head, total bliss for about 10-15 seconds. That scared the hell out of me. After that I had some really strong P-waves and some dry-O's for about 3 hours. I hardly slept that night while enjoying wave after wave.

Throughout the next day I was in a state of constant tingling and couldn’t wait to do another session that night. Again, I inserted the Helix with plenty of lube and the P-waves started strong right away. This time I went for a 1h session. After removing the Helix the real fireworks went off again, but this time I had super-O after super-O with involuntary pumping of my penis and anus for another ½ to 1 hour or so. Totally lost track of time.

Now here is my problem, It’s now Tuesday and I haven’t slept for more than a few hours since that amazing Friday night session. Every time I’m just about to fall a sleep another P-wave another super-O shakes my body and wakes me up again and again. I’m now totally exhausted and my whole abdomen feels like I was doing sit-ups for hours and hours on end. Totally sore muscles and now my prostate feels like it’s the size of a grapefruit. What should I do? Did anyone else experience this before? Should I go to an urgent care clinic to see if they can prescribe me something to calm everything down so I can get a decent night of sleep?

I'm 8+ months on the journey:

i get the "grapefruit" sensation when mental and or physical arousal happens now that my prostate is awake - it will throb and Reich when "hungry" and even blindside with a mini-O out of the blue sometimes. None of this bothers me.

early on I had the "feels like too many sit ups think" even some nausea the first night (over exertion on my part trying to "force it"). - I would not stress over this either - I think you'll likely acclimate.

try skipping a few days (hard to do I know) but see if pacing yourself helps... when your prostate first wakes up it can be weird and strange!

also, try having an internal dialog with your self - "Hey, prostate, glad your here and excited and waking up but I'm a little exhausted... let me get a little rest and then feel free to do your thing".

Others will have more suggestions for you as well. good luck! Keep us posted

Newbie here with some incredible over the top experience and now scared for my health. ... What should I do?

First, calm yourself down. You may be experiencing anxiety and stress from your growing prostate awakening. The newness and intensity of these sensual feelings can seem overwhelming, especially when one is not expecting them (ironically we keep telling people not to expect anything to avoid disappointments). However, for some men the experience bursts upon them suddenly and very intensely which they may find quite unsettling as in your case. Know this though, your body isn't going to self inflict injury in the generation of pleasure, so your general health is not in jeopardy.

Second, resolve to exert a little self discipline and refrain from another Anerosession until you feel back in a homeostatic body state. Your body will normalize itself in time when you remove the source of the overstimulation. Once you've gotten back to feeling mostly 'normal' you'll see that your fears were unwarranted. Note: Once you've awakened your prostate you will need to accept that you have established a new 'normal' and life will be different going forward. Just how different is impossible to predict but optimistically it will be better.

Third, start analyzing the source of your fears in a logical, rational manner. To paraphrase FDR 'You have nothing to fear but fear itself'. The newness and intensity of your sensual awakening may seem threatening to your ego's sense of control which is then creating anxiety and stress. Anxiety/stress can create panic attacks and/or the very symptoms you've described. Overcoming this level of anxiety will be necessary to progress. You might find reading Identifying Obstacles to Progress helpful in this analysis.

Did anyone else experience this before?

Yes, your experience has been cited before, while not frequent, your experience is not terribly unique either. There have also been a rare few, slightly more intense reactions, noted which may have been a form of Kundalini awakening triggered by Aneros usage. From your description of things, I doubt this is the case with you and suspect you are going to be just fine when you've calmed down some more.

Should I go to an urgent care clinic to see if they can prescribe me something to calm everything down so I can get a decent night of sleep?

Before going the prescription sedative route, I'd suggest you try some relaxation techniques, herbal teas and/or over the counter sleep medications.
Good Vibes to You !

Thanks a lot for calming me down. Today I'm really tired, but busy at work which keeps me distracted from the constant P-waves turning me on. I'll definitely wait a few more days before attempting another session. Also should I try another version that create less prostate stimulation such as the Eupho or MGX?

@Wedgewood Your description brings back vivid memories of my experience after awakening my prostate. My awakening didn't happen right away. It was a few months of Aneros use before I started to feel anything. Then I experienced my first prostate orgasm. I was excited and nervous. I also had some anxiety which led to worry about losing sleep. I used to get so frustrated when I would be drifting off and suddenly jolted by a dry orgasm, muscle contractions, etc. I had difficulty sleeping for approximately 3 weeks and then things got back to normal. You will find many helpful posts in the forum. Rumel, HerebyAccident and others have provided a treasure trove of information, advice and insight for you to discover. The search feature can help you locate a specific topic or you can browse through the archive containing over one thousand posts. Good luck on your journey.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experience, this helped me relax. I had a full night of sleep without any P-waves just a light flutter at the onset of sleep. Still very sore in my abdomen and the prostate seems to have relaxed as well. I took some Aleve to help with the sornes. Now the most difficult part is to wait another 2-3 days before giving into another Aneros session.

I'm glad you're feeling better.

As I noted in my introductory PM to you (click on your 'Messages' button to retrieve it), Aneros use can become very addictive, a little self discipline is necessary to make sure you remain balanced as you move forward in your journey. Balancing your ego's dictate to direct the what, when & where plus your Id's desire for the pleasures of Anerosessions against your body's ability to provide that pleasure is a conundrum all of us Aneros users must deal with, listen to your own intuition as to frequency of use to avoid the trap of addiction.
Good Vibes to You !
