Progressing in rewiring process I suppose. I am experiencing more and more erections in bed at night and early mornings. They wake me up and I can't help but do a few contractions and it feels sooo good. I fear I will eventually get sleep deprive!
Are you sleeping with the aneros? Or this is something that happen by itself?
No, not sleeping with my Aneros inserted. I'm amazed at this because 7 months ago (before I began prostate massages and Aneros), I could hardly get an erection let alone several per night. To me, this is a proof that prostate massages have improved my physical condition considerable and I'm still not completely rewired. Things are looking bright for the future.
You should know that healthy males get an average of 3 to 5 erections per night. You generally are not aware of them while you sleep. The morning 'wood' is most noticeable on occasion (since you are awake). You may be remembering more erections due your heightened sensitivity (Aless) due to Aneros use. Just a thought....
@goldenboy , the magic words are 'healthy males' and in my younger days, I had plenty of erections. As I grew older, I developed ED and experienced signs of some BPH so I got less and less erections (with less and less sex with my wife). Now, I'm happy I'm returning to my old self again.
@GGringo I am probably in the same boat as you. Since Aneros, I have noticed more erections as well. Probably some BPH too. Sex is not like the 'old days' but improving. Going to urologist again today.
I'm trying to stay away from urologist for as long as I can. I was destined to make an appointment until I started with Aneros. I see much less need to go. Good luck @goldenboy
@GGringo @goldenboy You gents seem to be a similar situation as I. Very tired of getting up in the night, and have tried meds for BPH - and they worked, but they raise my blood pressure. Having already had a stroke I'm not keen on that game of roulette. Aneros seems to help. A couple years ago I tried an ultrasonic massager, and found some relief, so when I went to Aneros I chose the Vice. I use it probably 4 times a week. The size takes a little bit of relaxing to get used to, and I wish the vibrator had an ultrasonic dual mode (40KHz - 30KHz or similar), but it has improved things. I'm wondering what you are using, and if you have found that a vibe helps. Maybe smaller, like a Eupho, would be a better solution?
Just got back from the urologist. Good news all around! My PSA is perfectly normal! I'm good for another year!
Hi mastadon1@yahoo.com ! I started with the Helix Syn and used it for 6 months. I then acquired the Progasm Ice and I never used vibration. It took me a while to get anything from the HS and now, it works well for me. The Progasm Ice was chosen to give me a more filling feeling and that works great for me.
My old prostate was almost dormant and now even if I never achieved the super-o or dry-o levels, I see improvements by leaps and bounds. I would still be happy with my sessions if they remain as they are today but I appreciate the progress in every sessions.
Good luck to you. Stay in touch.
@goldenboy great news! You now get to enjoy your sessions with no worries. With this, you will hit the BIG ONE in your next session!
mastadon1@yahoo.com The Aneros models I have include: Helix Classic, Eupho Classic and Progasm Jr. I also have Peridise (2 set). I don't have anything vibrating yet but they sound oh so stimulating!
@GGringo Yes, I was getting worried about PSA with all the prostate stim I do. But the number was low (2.4) which is excellent for an old guy like me (65)! I can go on full-speed-ahead!
@goldenboy - great news from the urologist is always welcome! Thanks for your Aneros list. Favorite?
Out of curiosity, have your PSA readings improved with Aneros? I'm only 58, but with the symptoms I already have, I know I need to do something more than my normal exercise (which consists of walking 5 miles up and down hills). Hoping the Aneros routine is the ticket.
@GGringo and @goldenboy - First, of your devices, what's your favorite, and why. Second, are either of you married and if so, how does your wife feel about Aneros? For me, my wife knows about the Aneros, but doesn't say much. I call it "my treatment."
mastadon1@yahoo.com I think my PSA was the same last time about 2-3 years ago. Most of my physical activity these days is swimming. I swim about 30-45 minutes every day and I feel great! It also keeps the belly fat away (burning up the calories). My favorites would be Helix and Eupho. I achieved my first Super-O with Helix and it probably will always be my favorite. Regarding my wife, she knows about Aneros but never really appreciated it or took any interest in it and still doesn't. Since she doesn't have a prostate, she doesn't have a clue (my secret!). I will be starting up with Cialis 2.5 mg soon (I have mild ED more like DE) so she will be participating!
mastadon1@yahoo.com my Helix was the first and at that time I thought it would be the only one I needed. It worked great but I kept reading about other's experiences with a bigger model and suddenly I wanted to feel something bigger so I went for the Progasm Ice. I'm glad I did as I now enjoy both. It's too early for me to say which is my favorite. I've been using the Progasm lately. I'm not planning on expanding my collection.
My wife does not know about my prostate massage sessions and she won't for as long as I can keep it away from her. For her, any back door play is dirty and the poop shute is designed for one thing and one thing only. My sessions are done at weekend nights when she has gone to bed.
@goldenboy, I will avoid taking any drugs for anything for as long as I can; I would rather leave things to nature. There are always side effects and sometimes the cure is worst than the problem. But, this is just me. Good luck.
It's nice to exchange opinions with both of you.
@goldenboy @GGringo Thanks for the feedback. I see there's a good rate on Helix on Amazon ... $29.53, and even better for Progasm, $22.38. I think I'll add to my collection. The vibration is good and helped me with identification of muscles (vibe makes it move easier, I think). Decisions, decisions ...
mastadon1@yahoo.com , have you selected your next toy? I'm intrigued.
@GGringo Yes - I've ordered a Helix. I'll keep you posted. I also had an interesting experience today using Vice + the ultrasonic device I mentioned earlier. I'll describe tomorrow - would be curious of your take on what happened.
Hi mastadon1@yahoo.com! Yes, I did read it and it never happened to me at least the way you described it. The only part I experienced was the mucus and it smells like tuna. The Vice is a pretty big unit and you had quite a bit of activities in your session so I think your body was telling you you overdid it. If you would have ripped something like a membrane or something, pain would be a big factor. You could have bruised your prostate and that could takes a bit of time to heal.
When I use my Progasm Ice, I have to remind myself to take it easy not to bruise my innards. I don't get that with my Helix Syn.
I'm not a doctor so of course, this is just my opinion. I hope all is well with you and you can enjoy this fantastic journey. Keep us posted.
@GGringo - had an appt with the doc today. She said she didn't think it could be a rupture or a fistula, but recommended that I take it easy for a while. She prescribed Flomax and said some back in 40 days. She didn't press hard during her exam, but I am a little sore afterward, which I've never been with previous exams, so it seems likely that I did overdo it. Lesson learned. The tuna smell in combination might have been it - I tried coconut oil + JO lube, and that's wasn't quite right. What does JO lube + tuna + coconut oil smell like? Sounds like a science project in the making. Hmmm ... wonder if I could get a govt. grant ...
Hi mastadon1@yahoo.com , I'm not a believer in drugs. Google the side effects of Flomax. Sometimes the remedy is worst than the problem. If it was me, I would just ease up for a while. Our body is capable of healing itself and it does a pretty good job given a chance. BTW, my dad was a GP.
This is just my opinion and beliefs.
I'm glad you are not ruptured. Take care.
@GGringo - Ya, me too. I personally don't care for ruptures. 🙂 Concur on drugs - I'm already taking more than I want to, and side effects of a drug was what brought me to massage as a solution in the first place. And the fact that it worked was a big confirmation ... until last week. Indeed, the Vice is significantly "more filling" than the Helix. The great advantage for me was the ability to use my sonic massager inside it rather than the Aneros massager, but the tendency to apply leverage against the prostate wasn't a good thing. Competing factors - the pleasure and the pressure, and the pleasure won out. Still, I do think other users would like an alternative to the Vice massager that had the higher frequency capability. That other device is certainly remarkable, and it even helps with hemorrhoids ... though that's another topic.
@mastadon1@yahoo.com, have you reached super-o level yet? I never used vibrating units as I do not want to miss any feelings or twitches generated by my Helix or Progasm. Isthe Vice lke a dildo?
