Hello, I'm looking for some assistance with the Aneros Helix usage, and the Aneros Progasm JR.

When I insert the helix, it's only when I relax that I feel very much of anything. What occurs is that my penis will begin to respond to the unit, and I'll get an erection. When I try and squeeze or move or do anything much, I almost lose the sensation, and it only comes back when I relax entirely. It feels good, but if I maintain the relaxed state, I lose the erection and I go back to feeling almost nothing. When people say to squeeze, and hold a squeeze, I don't understand where to squeeze - the anal area, in the kegel region? Should I be pushing out as though I am trying to urinate? I've had the helix and progasm for awhile now, and I experience precum 99% of the time, and 99% of the time it feels good, but I am so far from experiencing anything like an orgasm or super orgasm. It's been about two years, I guess I'd say, and while I enjoy the toys I feel there must be something that I'm missing. I've never had any 'p-waves' or whatever they're called, it just feels good I guess is the closest I could describe it. The helix works best, and the progasm JR is almost too strong, I think. Is the Helix SYN a good model to train with? Again there are so many different ways to move my muscles in the region, I'm confused when people say to 'squeeze'. Squeeze what, the PC muscles or the sphincter muscles?

@Slipstream --- The PC muscles are the primary set you want to use! From your statements, you are getting a great response from your prostate. Now, egg it on a little with your PC contractions...not real strong, but constant and gentle...and every once in a while, try something different just to see what you get! When you feel the sensations build, try not to force it, but let it grow on its own.

@Slipstream,

It might help if you were to tell us how frequently you use an Aneros tool and how long your sessions are.

IMHO, ideally, you would need to practice two or three times each week, although the length of each session might depend on your comfort. Suffice it to say, perseverance is important but frequency almost certainly plays a part.

The PC muscle is the one you squeeze. This is the same muscle that you use to stop the flow of urine when urinating. To figure out which muscle this is, try and go pee and then try and stop it. That is the key muscle you are looking for.

I agree with @Pommie...increased frequency helps to wake-up the prostate to where it become more aware of being stimulated!

For me, the p-wave phenomenon started as the very slight tingling sensation often radiating from my head, which, over months of frequent sessions, 3 or more per week, became very prolonged, increased in intensity and now flows from my head to my feet in waves of varying intensity and duration, and...can, during some sessions, flow as frequently as several, 3-4, per minute which feels quite awesome!

10% power of contraction throughout the whole session, then ramp it up to 40% for a while and return to 10% again when 'resting' (though nobody can tell me how long to hold the 40% contraction for, it varies for me a great sea;l)

you can thank me later (if someone had told me this many years ago my progress would be much better than it is)

Thanks everyone for your help 🙂 I probably use the Aneros three or four times a week - even without achieving a Super Orgasm I know that it's one of the nicest feelings I've experienced!! Thanks inhope, I'll give that suggestion a try. 🙂
