My apologies to anyone I may offend with this, but I can't help but musing how the major religions of the world would respond to Aneros. Moderator - please feel free to remove if you must - I understand.
What I think would happen:
Catholicism - would require a week's worth of Hail Mary's for absolution. And the priest would ask the confessioners where they could get one.
Judaism - would assign it to a Rabbinical panel to study for about 10 years to figure out how to use it during the sabbath without violating any restricted activities during the holy days.
Southern Baptists - would find a reference to a stick in the mud somewhere in the bible and have the apologetics interpret it to be an Aneros in an unclean rectum, and therefore prohibited. It would create a big problem, because separating orgasm from ejaculation would invalidate the logic of prohibition of 'spilling seed' on the ground and that would require a whole new interpretation of the Bible to prohibit it.
Rest of Baptists and various protestants - in general would be against it as a sin, but would allow an avenue for use as long as the wife (husband for the gay guys in the UU and UCC) was doing the insertion.
Hindus - probably already doing it because of some secret writing of Krishna, but to a person will not tell a soul.
Buddhists - meditation experts would welcome it in their meditation exercises as a challenge to totally clearing the mind.
Radical Muslims - if someone were caught with an Aneros, they'd find a woman responsible for showing some ankle or the man's wife for not doing her sexual duty correctly. Non-married women would be stoned to death. Married women, just flogged as they still would have use in bearing future legitimate martyrs.
Mormons - would want to know how the Tempo would fit with their magical undergarments, and might even go back to John Smith's original writings just to make sure the salamander was not a Eupho.
Scientology - everyone considering an Aneros would have to undergo additional Auditing, donations to the church, and signature of a contract rider covering a billion years of orgasms.
FSM - claim that all Aneros models are simply extensions of his noodly appendage and promote their use as long as you are dressed up as a Pirate while using.
Amish - riding on the plow behind that horse all day in the sun just became a lot more enjoyable.
@DLD, I am not at all offended by your post on how many major religions would approach Aneros usage. I think many religions would look upon the Aneros negatively. The Aneros is inserted through the anus and anal canal to massage the prostate. I think many religions, especially many Christian denominations would consider that "dirty" and evil. But Hindus and Buddhists who rely on a meditative practice that is perhaps holistic which includes the body certainly would look upon the use of the Aneros very kindly.
I began my Aneros journey in early June 2012. From the start, I have looked upon the Aneros as a medical device to massage my prostate primarily. But the Aneros awakened very early the sexual dimensions of my prostate in P-waves and Aless, and later on with Super-O's and MMO's. The major spinoff of Aneros usage is profound wellbeing. I experienced a major breakthrough in mid September 2016 with Super-O's and MMO's. Since every time I use the Aneros, it feels really good with resulting sweet, powerful Aless afterwards. Now my Aneros experiences transcends often what I experience in church! 😉
Heh, I think you pegged the Hindu's correctly. There is a huge tradition of bodily exploration and experimentation in the Upanishads, that I got really deep into in my youngest days.
Check out a technique passed on called rootlocks, or the "Three Bandhas". The writings around it describe it as though it is a weapon of mass destruction to be treated with care!
I kid you not, there are references to prostate orgasms. But they think of them as tools for connecting with the divine.
Are they that wrong?
You only have "Radical" for Muslims. Why not just plain old Muslims? Not all are radical! And the whole stoning thing and the strictness of what you think Islam is, not accurate or evenly portrayed in the real world.
I did not say anything about what I think Islam is...or isn't and I dont really care. The whole post was just meant to be non PC humor Sorry you didn't take it that way.
@DLD in the spirit of your post, atheists would not believe that a Super Orgasm exists, it is just a fantasy that gives hope to our male existence.
Neveryman Dang - wish I would have thought of that. Good one!
The Agnostics think a Super O could in theory exist, but have not seen convincing evidence yet that it is more than a brilliant marketing campaign spanning the entire internet.
@Thistledown Another creative one! But you know regardless of the sensation, the Quakers just sit there in total silence.
Many religions regard body/sex as negative/dirty, perhaps. But many other, often earlier "Pagan," religions saw human sexuality, sensuality, and spirituality as ONE, hand in hand together. For example, the legend said the Egyptian god Atum created the universe after ejaculation from masturbation. The flow of the Nile is connected to the number of times Atum ejaculated. The Pharaoh was expected to recreate Atum’s gift to the universe every year in order to nourish the Nile. Because of the creation story of Atum, the pharaohs of ancient Egypt were required to ceremonially masturbate into the Nile. ("It is good to be a king"?!) Masturbation & ejaculation have such creative power and cultural significance!
Zeus could turn himself into a bull, a swan, or even golden shower, so he could be with different mortal women in different places. In so doing, he, the 1st playboy, became the shared fatherly figure of the ancient Greeks. This is one of the key visions that unified the ancient Greeks into One People. Daoism (Taoism) regards sex / interactions between the male & female life-elements as essential for Nature to regenerate itself and produce "ten thousand things" with endless flux of transformations & variations. As a microcosm of the whole universe, the human body will need to keep the life-energy "qi (chi)" well-circulated and flowing.
Although ancient "Pagan" religions might not mention something like Aneros or prostate massager, I believe they were Not against it! Because Aneros sessions (perhaps some would do it ceremonially?!) induce and increase the "flow"! Maybe someday archaeologists would (re)discover some images of an ancient hero/king/god, with a prostate massager in him, ejaculating into a majestic river of life!
And 16th century Rome was filled with stolen Egyptian Obelisks. They figured out that the Egyptians thought of them as lightning rods for the divine celestial insemination, and they decided they needed that for themselves!
Sex, divinity, and transcendence go together in pretty much every religion except for the Abrahamic ones and their children.
Humorous! Not offended! Christ-follower who is not inhibited to enjoy toys!
