Hello,
I'm a little worried about this. How likely is it that when using a flexible dildo you could really hurt yourself?
For example I have a 7 inch flexible dildo and when I try to insert almost all of it then there comes a point where I feel
some kind of pressure inside. Sometimes I am able to work around it and after a while I can get it all in is this dangerous?
I mean is it possible that you rupture something or would you experience noticable pain as a warning sign before rupturing something?
And is it actually dangerous to flex your PC muscle while you have a dildo up your ass? Cause I tried this and it felt pretty good.
This way the rectum contracts and it gets much tighter and you feel more but could this be dangerous somehow?
And I also wonder are there any risks involved with using anal vibrators for a long time like for example 1 hour without taking a break? Could the vibration somehow be unhealthy for the tissue in the rectum?
I believe there is an upper sphincter in your rectum, this may be the pressure your are feeling and may be able to get past it. Pain is always the first sign your doing something wrong. I would imagine if there is no pain then you would be ok. I doubt flexing the PC muscle or using a vibrator is going to do any damage. Just keep it safe and sane and you'll be ok.
Hello, but how do you define pain? I mean when I try to insert it all the way then often I feel some kind of pressure but it's not really pain. Now if I keep trying to insert it all the way then could this be dangerous?
And if you hurt yourself then would there be blood on the dildo?
I doubt there is any danger from a dildo that is only 7" as long as you are well lubed and take your time. I think pressure would be normal, just not pain. So as long as you don't experience any pain you should be good to go. Just don't force anything.
I have an 8 inch silicone dildo which hurts at about the 6 inch mark so I stop when it begins to hurt. It feels soooo good at that level! I don't even have to move it much. The stretch of it around my anus, the soft feel of the head on my prostate! Just do what feels good, @dunz.
It all depend on how you do that. We can accommodate some crazy things. My longest dildo is 8.2, I can put it in completely by taking things slowly.
My widest plug is 3 inch diameter.
As to define pain, c/p from Wiktionary
pain (countable and uncountable, plural pains)

I read that there is a curve in the rectum after a while.
Could it be that the pressure which I feel is this curve? What happens if you try to insert deeper can you get around the curve?
What also frustrates me is that dildoing myself doesn't feel as great as I hoped it would.
In porn the women which receive anal always moan and act like it's so fantastic. But when I was
fucking myself with that dildo I wasn't moaning at all. It felt good but it wasn't orgasmic at all. 🙁
I am so jealous of women and their clit & vag. They seem to get so much more fun out of sex/masturbation. 🙁

Please look at this attached illustration ->
There is indeed a curve at the juncture of the sigmoid colon and the rectum, there is also a constrictive sphincter at this junction to control the entrance of fecal material into the rectum (normally the rectum is empty). When you insert long dildos through the rectum you encounter this sphincter and directional turn in your G.I. tract. Negotiating the sphincter and transitional turn will normally result in a feeling of pressure and for many people this can be uncomfortable or even painful. Care must be taken to be gentle with any manipulation in order to avoid the potential of bruising or tearing the flexible lining of the colon and rectum structures. It is possible to rupture these structures if overly vigorous activity is employed. A ruptured bowel can cause severe sepsis and a life threatening infection so you must be careful and gentle in all your actions. Remember you are subjecting your inner organs to stresses they have not evolved to cope with on a regular basis, utmost care needs to be taken.
And is it actually dangerous to flex your PC muscle while you have a dildo up your ass? Cause I tried this and it felt pretty good. This way the rectum contracts and it gets much tighter and you feel more but could this be dangerous somehow?
Since the PC muscle is primarily around the bottom of the rectum there is probably little danger in flexing it while the dildo is already inserted. You will naturally feel resistance from the inserted dildo and this resistance may be interpreted as a pleasurable sensation.
And I also wonder are there any risks involved with using anal vibrators for a long time like for example 1 hour without taking a break? Could the vibration somehow be unhealthy for the tissue in the rectum?
I don't know of any studies which have investigated the potential dangers of such use, however, there is much anecdotal evidence that prolonged use of vibratory devices may lead to temporary numbing effects as the nerves involved are depleted of their neurotransmitters due to prolonged excitation. This could lead to an attempt to instill more sensation by employing more vigorous activity which could, in turn, lead to damaging trauma.

You need to remind yourself that most of the commercial video pornography is scripted fantasy being performed by actors, this is NOT a realistic portrayal of typical human sexual relations, it is FANTASY intended to sexually arouse the viewer. Please do not look at those films as depictions of common reality. Rarely will your fantasies match your realities and they are even less likely to match someone else's fantasies

While your jealousy of the potentials of female sexuality is not an uncommon male affliction, as you come to acknowledge and appreciate the great variety and potential of your male body to experience pleasure in equal measure this affliction of jealousy will naturally drop away. Men and women's bodies are more similar than dissimilar, rejoice in your maleness, for it is far richer in potential pleasure than you have yet allowed yourself to fathom. Good Vibes to You !
Thanks for your answers, rumel.
Do you know how far into the rectum this transition to the GI tract is? Or does it vary?
The dildo I have is 7 inches long and when I try to insert almost all of it then I get this pressure feeling but somehow the dildo only feels really good when it's inserted as deep as possible.
Other than that I really do not get much out of it. It's really disappointing. I thought that it would be much better. 🙁
I also wonder what anal stimulation to feel good. Is it the friction when you move the dildo in and out or does simply having it inside already feel good? I use lube and I can get it in pretty well but I cannot really move it very much it doesn't really glide. Maybe my lube sucks it's water based. But I thought water based is healthier than silicone based.
First "ditto" on everything Rumel said.
The transition point as you say does vary from person to person. Also, your vibrator can slide through it at times and go all the way in far past this point "straightening out the curve". BUT it should not be painful. Pain in the GI tract comes ONLY from stretch and over distention so when it hurts its going to be a problem if you go too much further. You mite not be able to tell if you tear something either.
Also, the length of the dildo is not likely to add to your pleasure, i.e longer is not better so i wouldn't get hung up on how far you insert it. That full feeling you get isn't gonna turn into anything more intense from a pleasure standpoint. The risk of a perforation just isn't worth it when there's no increase in satisfaction.
You're also noting what i found - that having a big dildo up your ass at first seems like its gonna be HOT then after its in its just not all that is it? Thats because most of your sensation is gonna be at the level of the anus and a little higher from your prostate. The anal stimulation is best with light touch at first then increase as desired. ( i like light the whole time) Your anus isn't really designed for in and out either so the dildo action so to speak fades for me after a minute or two. Sounds like the same for you. The anus relaxes after a few minutes "thinking" its a bowel movement too so It loses its tone briefly and sensation drops with that.
When you eventually find your prostate with your dildo about 2-3 inches in and you and start putting pressure on it you'll realize THATS what its all about and all of a sudden that 7 inches isn't gonna mean anything. You won't need to be in there any farther than that trust me.
Hello,
but how much pressure do you need to stimulate the prostate?
I have a short (4inch) vibrator which is made of solid material. I inserted it and then slightly pressed it upwards and then I searched the area in there inch for inch. I thought once I hit the prostate I will feel it but to me it all felt the same! And I didn't want to apply more pressure cause it was a solid vibrator. Why didn't I feel it? I must have hit the prostate during my search.
I also don't know if I should try to use bigger dildos. The dildo which I use is made of silicone and it has a circumference of 10-11 cm. It goes in pretty easy. But if I want to use a bigger one then it doesn't go in easy. My question is should I try to stretch my hole in order to be able to use bigger ones or should I simply use a dildo which fits in without stretching? Would it be healthier for the hole to use a size which fits in naturally?
Different pressure at different times is best way to put it. If you just want to have a rockin' traditional orgasm put heavy pressure on the prostate as you're about to cum. For prostate orgasms I personally have found less pressure is better and actually just a light touch for me is best. Everyone's a little different.
First thing you need to do is to make sure you're "looking" in the right place for your prostate. (You didn't hit it.) Have you tried to find it with a finger yet?
Best way to explain it I think is like this: Lying on your back with your feet flat on the floor and your knees bent insert your middle finger into your anus with your palm up. Use lube! And make sure your nail is cut short so you don't scratch anything. Insert your finger as far as it will go then curl your finger toward your palm in a "come here little boy" kind of motion. The pad of your finger will glide across the prostate somewhere at 2-3 inch depth. (If you have really short fingers you might only get to the bottom of it too, but at least you'll know where it is.) You don't need a lot of pressure necessarily but increase it gradually if you need to till you feel a sensation like you have to pee that may burn a little as well. When you do that's the spot! Once you know where it is you will be able to get to it with the vibrator if that's your goal. And if you're already aroused you probably are going to just keep massaging it for a little while once you find it the first time!! Its very pleasurable.
Bigger is't better with the vibrator either. In fact, it may be easier to search around with a smaller model first much more comfortably till you find what your looking for.
Once you do, try inserting the vibe lying on your side with top leg drawn up and bent and Bottom leg straight as you lean forward toward your belly slightly. This is good position for the Helix too as hopefully you'll find out eventually. It's just a little bit easier to stimulate the prostate sometimes for some people in this position.
Do NOT think stretching you anus deliberately is a good idea either as it can lead to incontinence (losing control of your stool) if you over do it. Something that fits without resistance always best in my opinion.
Keep us posted bro! Happy hunting!
Hello,
thanks for the advice.
I tried finding the prostate with my fingers already many times but I still couldn't really "identify" it. When I insert a finger and then feel inside then there is some kind of elevation which comes after a while. Is this the prostate?
I still don't understand how I cannot find the prostate when I use a small vibrator and then slowly move it around inside and press it upwards where the prostate is located.
Make sure you arouse your partner. Apply lubricant first and then you can try dildo, butt plug or other such sex toys.
It's actually pretty simple, if something hurts don't do it. Anal pleasure requires relaxation, if it hurts, you are rushing into something that probably would feel good if you listened to your body and don't rush into it. Take your time, and enjoy the process, you'll be glad you did! Nothing should hurt!
Can regular dildo use stretch your butt out too much? I'm worried it could harm my Aneros sessions.
