So tonight I had this great time but don't know what it was... heh I felt like a vibrating/burning in my hands, and even face and lip and it moved down my body ... not any real quivering but it felt really good and made me scream out loud sort of... It lasted for about 3-4 minutes then I had to stop. I was very relaxed. When I got up my ears sort of were ringing and couldn't walk right... heh

Hello jjaneros and welcome to the Forum,

Early in this journey, guys experience a broad range of sensations (from absolutely nothing to unusual visuals and feelings). Muscle twitches and tremor are common. Chilled, warm or flushed skin surfaces aren't usual. Visuals and aural effects are somewhat rare. Your brain may be doing some random things with your body as it settles into pleasures it's not previously experienced.

It's possible that your sensations and energy flow excited the Trigeminal nerve which can trigger muscle contractions in your jaw, face and ears. (check out the Basilar Membrane), which can create sounds like ringing, loud rushing sounds etc.) If the disturbance reaches the semi-circular canal it may also affect your sense of balance.

Early in my journey, when I 'drove' a session very hard I would stimulate that pathway and cause rushing sounds in one or both ears, along with face twitching and jaw clenching. When I eased up on my 'effort' and hurry to achieve an orgasm, that situation became a rarity. As you focus on your pleasures, your brain will 'wire' onto those feelings that you cherish.

Learn and enjoy all the new things that are happening in your body. Amazing stuff! Have a great journey

I was considering posting a similar question when I read your response rook. I have been experiencing a very similar sensation in my last few sessions. I feel a rush of energy from my prostrate that shoots up to the top of my head, and then the top of my head along with my ears start buzzing or vibrating and jaw clenching also occurs. I have never felt this before and it quite suprized me the first time, and then it happened a few more times on the next couple sessions. I just felt it was another step along the journey.
do you feel I am trying too hard and that is what brings on this sensation? I'm not sure if I am reading that in your post?

I'm no Neurologist but I think we route a lot of sensations through the Amygdala and Hippocampus (I think of those as switching centers). My thoughts on rewiring ... we're automatically identifying and solidifying our desired paths as we move along our Orgasmic journeys. We reward our brains with positive meditation and we mentally applaud our pleasures when they are amplified in our brains. Sometimes our stimulation signals make a wrong turn as the brain plays a trial and error game with itself and our bods cry out with non-pleasures. I think of that as the cause/reason for the large muscle twitches that we get very early in the journey. I seldom get major spasms now -- just small tremors and vibes.

I can't relate to that 'zap' from the prostate to your head as I've not had one. I'm not a student of energy flow between chakras. An 'energy' guy like artform or pan (both seem well versed on moving energy around the bod) might have a better understanding of what's going on and how to guide it. It does sound though like what's been referred to as a Kundalini effect. You might do a search on the Forum using that term. (it's also the name of the back tab of the Progasm so the search will produce some extraneous results).

If you look back into Pan's earlier posts, there are some excellent notes on how he seems to reach into his Autonomic nervous system to both sense and control some muscles well beyond reach of the average Joe. Really amazing stuff and confirmation of the capabilities attributed to the Hindu masters !!

My 'dark side' experience: When I was in the fourth and fifth months of this whole show, I was getting some pretty heavy responses along with some results that I thought of as 'dark side' responses... severe jaw clenches, cold shivvers, cold sweat, departures into migraine aura. The jaw clenches would trigger or accompany loud 'rushing' sounds in my ears and difficulty in hearing for an hour or so after the session. At the time I was still, "beating my prostate into submission." (cool phrase borrowed from artform)

Once I really got into deep relaxation and relied mostly on my breath to move the Aneros things got better. I started making love to myself and adopted gentle physical and mental caresses both outside and inside my skin. Then, the pleasures emerged and the 'uglies' subsided. I still produce some big excursions in pulse rate and feel heavy pounding pulse in my body. And, mucho sweat. But, it's now part of a warm loving glow. (the same glow I'd get in the second week of loving a new g/f.) I now feel toward myself as I feel toward my spouse. That side of this game started to emerge early in January.

I was living two separate emotional lives though at that point in time. One was a very stressful period in my family life -- spouse and two siblings all with Cancer diagnoses. I'd excape and bury myself into ecstasy during my Aneros sessions, hiding completely from the harsh world around me. In retrospect, from a mental health viewpoint, it wasn't the healthiest approach to dealing with stress but I was focused during those sessions. And, I did make a lot of progress, first super-O was on the first of March.

Regarding jaw clenches -- I broke a tooth last year during a jaw clench--partially the result of having a lousy bite. New crown $$ ! Decided that the price of a simple mouth guard was less than a crown so, for several months I would stick the guard in my mouth. I no longer have eyebrow twitches, ear rushes or jaw clenches. So, what you're getting is probably just one phase of 'body learning.' (Amygdala and Hippocampus taking the stimulation and sending it to a Cranial nerve instead of spreading it into your whole body.) If it continues, spend a buck on a mouthguard as a temporary solution.

As an aside... For the last decade, I've had visual Migraine (aura only) attacks, about once a month. I've also had an occasional Orgasmic Migraines during tradional sex. Those seemed to increase in frequency as I moved into the Journey. Six months ago I first super-O'ed. Since that time I've only had one perhaps two random Migraine events and the amount of visual display is now minimal -- not so much as to make me pull off the road and park.. So, something in the Amygdala or Hippocampus has been stirred in this rewiring process. Migraine cure ? -- shove a piece of plastic up your ass : lol : Think though that I'll withhold final judgement on this for another year.

Take care, everyone. Relax, breathe and enjoy.

that's a shitload of information Rook....
I just finished a session of an hour and had the same rush to head buzz feelings several times so I think they are here to stay and not just a fluke.
I find when a p wave hits me, the rush goes straght to my head. I was able to hold onto one for a time (only seconds) but it was great
I have to consider this progress
