I have a helix. I have played around with some toys in the past. So I know what it feels like to massage the prostate. It seems as tho the Helix doesn't reach my prostate. I am 6'4'', 240 lbs and don't know if that has anything to do with it. I have had the Helix about 2 months or so and no real success except some tingling. I am wondering if it isn't long enough? Any suggestions?
Thanks
SecretObsession,
It is possible that the Helix may not be fully engaging your prostate, as the design of that model (when correctly inserted) will be approximately 1/2" shorter than a similarly inserted MGX model. However, if you were able to receive stimulation/massage via finger manipulation before, then the Helix should be long enough to match finger depth massage.
The alternative would be to move up in size to the Maximus or Progasm model. Forum member reports uniformily good results from the Progasm model, perhaps that model would be better suited to your use, as it is longer than any of the other models when properly inserted.
hmm sounds interesting rummel. When I push in the helix all the way I clearly feel more prostate contact, but as soon as I release it and it comes back to it's idle relaxed state where it seems to meant to be, the effect is a lot less. So I was figuring the same.
I purchased the helix because of it's description on the site :
"The Aneros Helix is aggressively shaped and angled. This model provides immediate pressure and tension on the prostate and surrounding area. Destined to become the new standard because it requires less patience and practice to realize benefits."
all these models don't really make it any easier. Maybe I should have started out with the mgx as well... :/
I was about ready to give up totally on the helix. It just didn't seem to be doing anything for me. I read where some people cut the handle off. I decided what the heck, give it a try since I was ready to throw it away.
All I can say is OH MY ! It is unreal, the results. I am sure I sounded like a screaming, moaning little hooker. lol I am almost embarrassed by the results. 🙂 Cutting the handle off worked for me.
SecretObsession,
Glad to hear that little modification made such a difference. Shortly after I first started using the Aneros's, I cut off the handles of both my MGX and Helix, not so much to improve their mobility (which it did) but more for the purpose of being able to comfortably use them while sitting on the couch or in a lounge chair in addition to lying on my back in bed.
Keep us posted on your progress.
