Question about strength of manual contractions

Where do you draw the line as far as manual contractions go? I know you're supposed to stay gentle, but sometimes when it starts to feel good I tend to bear down more, which makes me think I'm contracting too hard, back off, and I lose my momentum. Also seems like once you graduate to a stronger contraction during a session, once you back off you almost feel nothing, so I'm trying to gain a rule of thumb as to at what point a contraction becomes too hard.

@Spanishguy69, I only can recommend to let go and to let your prostate take over command. I always try to avoid deliberate contractions, on the contrary I hold back and wait for sudden and mostly unvoluntary motions I only accompany. I am stepping on the brake pedal rather than the accelerator. Like on a speed boat or a windsurfing board you can get on the wave, what I would call a MMO (multiple male orgasm) or you might slow the pace quite a little bit more until you will get swept away by the breaking waves from behind taking you with them to your Super-O. It's not about strenght, it's about letting go. Enjoy!

@Spanishguy69 your question is a good one. When you are having a so-so session, increasing contraction strength often increases good sensations and therefore the temptation is to continue with the aggressive approach. However, @SOwithoutAneros is right, you need to let go, take your foot off the pedal and opt for very very slight contractions if you can call them that. It's tough but chasing the big one will do everything but get you there. We are anxious by nature and v=believe me, you are not the only one in this predicament. Good luck and good vibes!

@Spanishguy69 , I am also working on this. I have definitely found as you say that it can be counterproductive to try to actually "do" anything. Having said that, I found it is helpful to work on separating anal contractions and PC muscle contractions, and working on them separately seemed to help in "training" my body in how to react during a "just doing nothing" phase. I also find deep breathing is good for concentration, and I have also had some success with just reading something.. not even necessarily anything erotic! But it will just serve to concentrate my mind and let everything "down below" get to work without any interference from me.

@Spanishguy69 I can tell you that I have not had an Aneros session in several weeks now. But with recent edging, I have had an extreme reaction (Aless pulsing) from my prostate! I agree with all the other posts; just relax and let your body take over! Try as you may to force something, it will have the last word! Good luck!
