Now first I know this is very subjective and will never actually be measured (Not now anyway) but I'm a guy who was always envious of my girlfriends orgasms they seemed so powerful and amazing and mine felt(or seemed) so mediocre in comparison. I got into prostate play years ago and now have mind blowing prostate orgasms. It makes me feel better about not experiencing a "female" orgasm. It even eases my frustration with being circumcised. My question is have there been any actual scientific studies into the prostate orgasm vs female orgasms. Like what goes on in the brain during prostate orgasms? I feel like it would be very similar. The way my girlfriend acts during her orgasms seems very similar to how I am when I have prostate orgasms.

None that I am aware of.

The research done by Masters and Johnson did establish that female and male orgasms (presumably penile based ejaculatory ones) were remarkably similar in their physiological responses with the major difference being the length of time for the female orgasm (longer duration). Unfortunately, Masters and Johnson did not have the technological capabilities we now have with tools like fMRI for studying brain activity, nor did they consider prostate based orgasms as a distinct type of male orgasm. More recent studies with brain scans have confirmed the similarities between male and female orgasms but as far as I know none have specifically studied prostate based orgasms, nor have any investigated differing hormonal values between ejaculatory and dry orgasms.
In my continuing quest for information on prostate based orgasms using Google, I am finding very little evidence for any scientific studies of this phenomenon. There are a great number of anecdotal stories, blogs, websites and forums (Aneros ) which discuss and praise the pleasures of prostate based orgasms but few can offer any scientific data to review. There was a recent report about a 63 yr. old UK man who was experiencing multiple prostate orgasms spontaneously as a result of his practice using a prostate massager. This report has seemingly sparked some interest in getting an initial study done but until somebody wants to fund such a study it may never happen owing to the social taboos associated with male anal play. Here are some recent articles which are pertinent to this discussion -> Has the Mystery of the Prostate Orgasm Been Solved?, Researchers are looking into why prostate orgasms feel so incredible & Come again? What scientists learned by studying men who are multiorgasmic.
Until such time as a wealthy, generous, curious, non-conventional benefactor (Jeff Bezos maybe?) steps up to fund such a study you'll just have to rely on your friends here on the Forum for information.
Good Vibes to You !
Thanks @rumel . Lets hope something concrete comes out soon. Ooo, that sounds funny, but you know what I mean.
