Prostate orgasm during lumbar fusion surgery

My first prostate orgasm was a result of recovering from a multi level (lumbar & sacrum) fusion. About 3 weeks post-op, for no apparent reason, while lying in bed (you do a lot of laying in bed after multi-level back surgery!), something "down there" started to itch, then throb, then, after a while POW... "What the F**K was that!!!!!!" It felt quite orgasmic, but deeper, & VERY, VERY intense. After doing much web searching (and BTW, discovering this forum), I came to realize that what I experienced was a prostate orgasm. This set me on the prostate orgasm bandwagon, which I've been riding for 5 years, now.

This is the first time I've shared this experience, I haven't mentioned this to my surgeon/drs., because I'm just not that comfortable with bringing the subject up. The forums are a wonderfully anonymous means of asking questions that I'm too shy or embarrassed to bring-up with any professional (I'm 64, so my modesty is rather old-school). I can also tell you that since that surgery, I've also had a TURP, but my ability to achieve prostate bliss with an Aneros (or NJoy Pfun) has not been affected by the procedure.

I'm wondering if this kind-of "prostate awakening" is a thing post lumbar fusion? Has anyone else on these boards experienced prostate stimulation or orgasm post lumbar fusion surgery?

@panoguy What a remarkable story. Maybe your body was rewarding you after enduring the back surgery. Thanks for sharing it.

Welcome . In this wagon you will pass through many stations of pleasure 😉 .

Interesting report, I imagine that the unusual awakening of the prostate must be linked to the necessary rest after surgery. Possibly his sexual activities were restricted during this time and so there was an accumulation of libido. If you had already tried some kind of stimulation there and interrupted, then this moment of rest may have reactivated the sensations.

If you have never had any such stimulation in the anal area then it was luck or perhaps some positive and unusual consequence of the surgery (perhaps?) . Anyway enjoy.

Some questions:

Have you ever done any stimulation in the prostate/anus region?

Which aneros do you use?

How is your journey?

Good luck !

I haven't experienced this myself but I have read about people having spontaneous orgasms or PGAD/PGAS (persistent genital arousal disorder/syndrome) after a back injury, back surgery and from certain medications. Of course all of the studies you read about, the 'disorder' was unwanted and it caused them a great deal of distress. It's too bad they never decided to accept their condition and learn how to live with it. Life would be a lot more fun that way. ...If only they new how hard some of us have worked to achieve such a persistent level of unstimulated stimulation lol. I get woken up by my prostate several times a night. Sometimes I don't get much sleep, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
