I had this great experience and realization last night i wanted to share. I have read several topics where aneros users reported having a 'dull ache' or 'itching feeling' in their prostates.
I never really knew what they meant.

Now, last night, in the middle of the night, i woke up with a very strong erection. Didn't want to pay attention to it and tried to get back to sleep, but it kept distracting me. It puzzled me because the erection really seemed to keep me awake. After a while though, i realised it wasnt my penis, but my prostate keeping me awake.. it was that 'dull ache', or indeed an itching that i felt. Almost like you want to scratch it to make it go away. At that moment, it wasnt really pleasurable yet. But when i realised it was my prostate, i started focussing on the feeling. Immediately, the erection subsided completely and the ache became stronger. It was almost like my prostate was asking for attention and when i listened, it let go of the erection. I did a few kegels and reverse kegels, and this enhanced the feelings. I almost orgasmed twice, with my penis completely flacid! And without any manual stimulation and aless..

The funny thing is that i had a few earlier occasions where i woke up in the middle of the night and had the same feelings. But up to last night, i wasnt able to identify it properly. Now, finally, it seems like i put the pieces of the puzzle together :). I almost feel dumb for not recognising the feeling earlier.

Right now i still feel a slight ache down there. It is really like my prostate is awakening. Happy days!:)

Hmm interesting post.
Did you have itching and ache at the same time?
I think I sometimes have this with aneros use but I never know what to do with it.

If this is a good sign, then that's a comforting thought.

What do you do to get an erection at night?

I didnt do anything to get an erection.. i woke up and had it. No sexual dreams prior to waking up, although i was a bit aroused when going to sleep.

Regarding the itch/ache: it wasnt exactly the same as, lets say, an itch on your skin, but i had a feeling down there that made me slightly unconfortable and restless, in a sense that it prevented me from falling back to sleep. Thats how it compares to an itch. But because it comes from deep within, it doesn't feel as direct as an itch on your skin. It is more like a 'dull ache' (like others have described). I kept turning and moving around in an attempt to lose the feeling. However, once i identified it was my prostate, i started concentrating on the feelings to enhance them and they became pleasurable from that moment on. (Which is pretty weird if you ask me..) Performing kegels and especially reverse kegels seemed to enhance the feelings up to a point where i almost had an orgasm.

@cko23 Congratulations! Once the prostate becomes horny, sessions become more consistent. The louder the prostate asking for attention, chance of getting SuperO is also higher.

Happy days indeed! In the "HypnAerosession" recording 'Alana' mentions this very same sensation. "Itch", "Ache" or what I call a sensual 'Longing' it is your prostate's language whispering to you its desire for attention. Congratulations on paying attention to your body's language and beginning the communication.
Good Vibes to You !
