Everytime I use the progasm is makes me feel like I need to go to the bathroom. I find this weird b/c I have had bigger during anal sex. Any suggestions? Is there a better way of inserting it? I have no problem getting it in.
Make sure the lube you're using doesn't contain glycerin. For some people, glycerin has that effect.
Thanks for the tip, I will check in to it 😀
I have no problem with the progasm, however I cannot start out with it or I will have much pain
I generally start out with the mgx and move up though the models ending with the progasm
I made this post about it a little bit ago... may or may not be worth reading *shrug*: http://www.aneros.com/forum/f5/got-progasm-awesome-15058/#post93004

As I moved into the Progasm game I'd frequently do an insertion where the tip would hang somewhere up the canal. that wouldn't be obvious since I'd have OK prostate contact and good positioning o both tabs. The feeling was "rectal tension" (sorry butt that's about the best words I can put on it.). Couldn't relax and breathing wasn't moving the Progasm.
Found the problem by holding the abutment and forcing my canal and rectum downward. Voila, could feel the canal move downward in a couple of short jumps perhaps 1/4" each for a total of 1/2" to 3/4"-- not sliding or slipping, Then felt more relaxed with Progasm.
Solution has been a more generous shot (3-4ml) of pre-lube well up the canal. "Well up" for me means at least 3" about twice the length of the small tip on the average lube shooter.
I wrote off that issue as lube failure. Still working on accommodating the oval stem --- butt I'm getting there.
My feeling is that the shape of the head, unlike a dildo, doesn't push lube ahead of it as it penetrates the canal -- rather, it might be shoving lube aside.
Hello Liam9, 🙂
My guess is you either need to do a rectal rinse prior to your Aneros to clean out any remaining fecal matter in the way. Or like RJT mentioned, you're using lube that has glycerin in it which can cause a purgative effect for some men.

Rook - Could you please explain more when you mention that you were "holding the abutment and forcing my canal and rectum downward?" I'm not understanding this completely. Thanks so much. 🙂

Hmmm, bad suggestion on my part -- think we need to get a few more months of 'mileage' on your canal for this.
Rather than applying force to the abutment to shove it further inward, hold the abutment stationary in relation to your anus. Then, relax your canal and rectum. With your pelvic muscles, work the rectum and canal downward along the Progasm. sort of a 'crawling' motion. Imagine that you're sliding a glove onto your hand. When I did this, I got about 3/4" more insertion and 'instant comfot.' That told me that Progasm was hanging up probably just below the neck between the head and the upper body.
Eventually, this gets easy but you've gotta co-ordinate three different muscle groups. Some of the old timers around here have developed the skill to work across nervous systems to exercise control over smooth muscles. This sort of action lets you wag tools easily from side to side in the canal -- much as B.F. Mayfield posted in his Vice review. I can 'wag' a Helix but not an MGX or Progasm.
Hey, I can 'wag' my Aneros', including the Progasm. I've never really had too much trouble inserting my Progasm, I'd set a towel on a chair, squat down onto the Aneros, then through breathing exercises, ease my way down onto the Progasm. But still no Super-O; had several good sessions in the past, but not much recently, I suspect due to lower back/sacrum problems.
This is all great info! Thanks alot guys, I took in a lot of info 🙂
