Progasm not working

I recently got a Progasm for my birthday from my boyfriend. This is my first sex toy/aneros and from what i've heard the progasm is for advanced users. Well clearly i'm not advanced but i really want to hit those "Super-O's". When i place it in, i feel relaxed and comfortable. I contract my muscles, only able to hold 3-4 seconds at a time, and do this for 5-10 minutes. Nothing seems to happen except for the feeling of well... the aneros in my rectum. Eventually after around 20-30min. i end up stroking my penis until i cum, thats what i feel a stronger orgasm but thats not what im looking for. I want a dry super-o! What can i do to make my Progasm work? What am i doing wrong at this point?

chrisbfake,

At this point the best thing you can do is to familiarize yourself with the Aneros WIKI. The WIKI is a distillation of the threads and posts of some of the most experienced Aneros users. On the Progasm, it was designed for advanced users and for those experienced with anal play. This is not to say that other users can't benefit from it, only that those users will likely have more success with it sooner. With respect to the 3 to 4 second contractions, what is the intensity of the contractions that you're using? The fact is that you don't need strong contractions with the Progasm to get the most out of it. Granted, you may appreciate the sensation of the stronger contraction, but these are not the type that generate the pleasure waves (P-waves) that are the precursors to the Super O. In general, with all of the Aneros models it takes very low intensity contractions to accomplish this. Although it may seem counter-intuitive, the Progasm requires even lighter effort still because it is larger girth.

If you're really interested in forwarding yourself down this path, take some time and learn about it first.

Cheers,

BF Mayfield
