I'm pretty new to aneros prostate play (about 4 or so months). I haven't reached super o yet but have been getting good feelings with my helix syn and mgx trident.

I was wondering if I should look into getting a progasm next. I'm in the mood to try another model too. Are there any guys out there who have/had one who would like to give me their opinions on it and if it's worth it. If not, is there another model that you recommend more?

Be careful rushing to buy new models before really understanding how your bodies reacting and re-wiring. Reflect on rides and what is it you feel is missing that could help push you further along. Is it really your tool or should you relax more and let the feelings flow to see where current ones can really take you. Too often we as men don't get results immediately, so we look for something new instead of slowing down, taking stock of where we're at, and then moving forward.

Are you looking for more movement or more pressure on prostate? For more movement look to dancers like Eupho or Tempo. For more pressure on prostate there is Progasm Jr. If you want more pressure and fuller feeling then Prograsm, Vice or DeVice. I love my Progasm ICE--Drives me wild!--butt not for all. Some think too full, others not enough movement, some hard time keeping it in.

So, lots to think about before jumping to Progasm. Happy riding!

The first one I got, and the one that works best for me in particular is the Eupho trident. The benefit that the Eupho has is MOTION. It can react to your feeling, and tease more out of you. It has a dynamic.

I have used the Helix and the Progasm as well. The Helix is pretty good, but moves less. Constant pressure, but less dynamic. The Progasm isn't THAT big on the scale of things that go in butts, but by the way it is shaped, and its larger size it puts a constant pressure on that area.

So the answer is... do you want constant pressure or dynamic pressure. Dynamic is my choice, but that doesn't make the others useless.

For me, the Progasm is worthless. It is the only tool I have that my body will simply spit out. All the rest of them gently rest inside my rectum and provide wonderful pleasure. Particularly my Tridents!

I began my Aneros journey in early June 2012 with Helix Syn. A few weeks later in July 2012 I graduated to Maximus. I discovered that peristalsis in my anal tract popped Maximus out in my first attempts. I had to develop my anal musculature to keep Maximus inserted for my sessions. Even more so when I graduated to Progasm Classic and Progasm ICE in September 2012. The Progasm series are the cadillacs of Aneros, something like Tempo which I also have and use occasionally. If you want to use weight training to develop your anal musculature, use Progasm Classic, Progasm ICE, and Tempo. It may be hard work and tiring as I found initially, but there is definite sexual pleasure when you have strong anal musculature and yes, the sweet, powerful Aless that ensues after sessions. You will be disappointed.

@kmkm, I also have Prograsm Jr. It is also a very good Aneros model.

Thanks everyone for your input. @Varmint1 I will make sure that I do that. Sometimes I catch myself thinking to myself about getting a new model if I don't get instant feedback. I guess I'm just getting a little to impatient lol

There is no mistaking, the models are different. One of them may work better for you than the others, that is the case for me. Being 4 months in, I don't think you are too soon to consider different variables, like the model you use. Those models you have are also known to be beginner friendly though.

This whole Aneros business seems to be a bit counter-intuitive in many respects. Maybe it's because society (at least in Western cultures) has wired us to think bigger is better in almost all aspects of life. When I started out, I got a Helix (trident series not yet out) and remember thinking...wow I am putting this thing up my butt and having experiences I never knew a guy could have. So the next thought was I wondered what else was out there that might produce an even greater sensations. Thinking bigger has got to be better, I got a Progasm and it was just plain to aggressive for me to really enjoy. So, I backed of to the JR and although a bit better was still way to aggressive. Orgasms with the bigger devices became more of a clenching and getting off event than an experience that I found could be built upon into ever bigger experiences over time with the lighter touch of the Helix.
So, I reassessed and went the other way with the Eupho Trident and Tempo and have spent A LOT of time focusing on building minute PC muscle skills on a daily basis. In the process, I learned that it is possible to move the smaller devices in/out, up/down, and left/right as desired and can now target the interaction between the device and my anatomy to exactly where I want it to go....Well that is up until the involuntaries kick in which a whole different story.

With the bigger models involuntaries range from no to little thrusting movement. With the Helix, It feels like the mind/body relationship between length of movement and actual movement is about the same.

But, with the Eupho trident the mind/body relationship gets totally distorted and if I did not know better, I'd swear the thing was doing a good 6" with each stroke.

Also, I took the time to polish my Eupho to a beautifully shiny finish, and that has greatly reduced the need for quantity of lubricant. Process to polish is in another thread.

Regarding the Tempo, because of its shape and weight there is no thrusting movement when Orgasm starts. It seems to stay in position, and feels like a switch being rapidly turned on and off on my prostate as the device sits in place and quivers. The whole thing is akin to edge surfing(which I have always been into) with occasional loss of control with what I can only term as exquisite orgasms with the main bulb of the Tempo acting as that on/off switch in my prostate area which I am just now learning to steer like I have done with the Eupho.

In short, you may be pleasantly surprised by adopting an attitude of less is more and as you progress give serious consideration to the smaller models that Aneros offers.

I concur with the above responses that less is more. In my case the "less" is Aless, meaning, without an Aneros at all. So, keep in mind that as you develop your experience and learn more, you may discover that you can re-create the sensations without an Aneros inserted. At this stage of my journey of about 2 years, I am able to summon total body orgasmic sensations by just laying down, relaxing, and deep breathing. This is not to say I never use an Aneros, as I still enjoy the tactile prostate massage an Aneros offers. I utilize the Helix Trident and Eupho Trident about twice a week and very occasionally the Progasm Jr. The smaller models tend to give more movement and for me generate more intense sensations than the Jr. Each person's experience and progress will vary, so if you want to try a Progasm, by all means buy one. I own all the models except the full size Progasm because I was also curious as I was learning, but I rarely use the larger models.
You just may find that "less is more" after you buy the Progasm! 😉

Cool! I did end up getting the Jr to try out. I heard better things about the smaller of the two models. Not expecting it to blow me away, but I did want to see how it felt, especially since the models that I do have are on the smaller side of things.

Don’t forget to consider tempo or peridise as less can be better
