Hi...I followed the instructions on the box. I inserted the Aneros well lubricated into my anus, and I relaxed for some minutes. Then I started the slowly contractions. After a while, I became impatient and began to masturbate myself until ejaculation. When I took out the Aneros, it had blood over the part that supposedly is in contact with the prostate. Could it be some blood vessel tearing due to the involuntary contractions, or should I be worried?
Thanks...
i am not a doctor and have not had this experience. my guess is that the blood is coming from either your rectum or anus, a small tear. I say anus because it might have gotten that blood on it on the way out, as the wide part stretches the anus. the anus is typically a site for small tears, have you ever had that happen with a too fat turd? i assume it was just a little bit, is that right? one question: how did you lube? maybe it was too dry in there?
check for blood on your stool and the next time you use the aneros. be sure to use a lot of lube, consider injecting it, and particularly on your anus. put the aneros in slowly and gently, avoiding tearing the anus.
if it discontinues, don't worry. on the other hand, if it does continue you should check with your doctor for sure. blood from the rectum can mean there is something going on in their that requires follow-up.
one IMPORTANT thing: everybody who uses the aneros must feel comfortable talking with his doctor about it when there is a health issue. doctors are there to help you stay healthy, not to pass judgment on your personal practices. i have told numerous doctors about it and their attitude is always professional. they have heard a lot worse!

Hey, I agree with darwin that you probably caused a small tear or fissure in the delicate tissue lining the anus at the external sphincter. Usually you can feel these (they can have a stinging like sensation) and often see them after a good shower and then squatting over a mirror and gently pulling the edges of your anus apart. A typical fissure will look like a small linear tear of the tissue at the edge of the anus. Internal hemorrhoids which don't always prolapse into the anal canal can also be a source of bleeding but it takes getting scoped to see them.
What size Aneros did you use? Attempting one of the larger ones when you're not quite used to that could easily cause either of the above, but in general seeing blood is not usual with Aneros use. How old are you? You can PM me (I'm a doc in real life as well) with some of this if you like. But if you're younger than say early thirties, it's very unlikely this represents colon pathology to get worried about. If you're over forty, particularly if close to or over fifty you will want to do a colonoscopy for all of the health screening benefits appropriate for that stage in life anyway and you don't even have to admit your massager use to the doc if you feel uncomfortable about it in that setting. Even so, If he asks, and you don't think you'd be comfortable telling him all the details, you can simply say you "saw blood" down there and he'll get you checked as virtually all insurance pays for lower GI tract endoscopy for someone having seen blood.
Best regards and hope all is well.
