@helghast

I am liberal (in the progressive sense), but it doesn’t mean I have to adhere to a strict vocabulary (or fit into any other strict moulds).

However, I also don’t like offending people, so I will explain my use of the word fat.  I am not aware that this word is offensive in nature. To me it is a neutral word that can have positive or negative intention, given context.  Like the word “Jew,” as Louis CK notes in the beginning of the following clip (I hope I am still allowed to find Louis CK funny as a liberal and a feminist!):

If I say that my partner is fat or I am attracted to fat women, I mean it in a positive way. In my experience, when I get to the point of intimacy with someone where we both feel comfortable making loving comments about each other’s bodies (I.e. when we have both acknowledged we are into each other), they are happy that I am into their fatness, without euphemisms masking my interest (and also with plenty of euphemisms cuz they’re fun).  I wouldn’t ever bring up anyone’s body size or shape for any reason other than to tell them they are beautiful, because otherwise it isn’t my business.

But maybe I am wrong, and maybe fat is an inherently negative word. I speak mostly French these days, so it is possible that I missed that boat.

Same thing for those who get good result with pornography, what's your secret ?

I just got the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset.  Loads of fun.  I gotta say, watching porn on it is pretty amazing.  Had a session this weekend with the headset that led to multiple O's fairly quickly.  I hate to appear like I am promoting pornography...but yikes that was good.

Hey does anyone know how to link to old posts of theirs? I want to link to a post of mine from a similar thread instead of type it all out again here and copying and pasting isn't allowing me to post it. Thanks in advance!

https://community.aneros.com/community/general-discussion/men-who-dont-use-porn-how-do-you-get-and-stay-aroused/#post-107068

Hey y'all, I hope this post of mine from last year can offer some perspective on this topic!

Very similar situation here, if not even more of a porn addict. I know MANY of the widely published prostate stimulation/super O intro articles out there recommend porn to get aroused. I couldn't make it work at all with porn. And as I have posted elsewhere, this unveiled my nascent pornography addiction, which I am now actively treating. And that has unlocked tons of hidden potential in the rest of my life. I suppose it's all in how a person goes about getting aroused, but porn, for me, externalized everything. Looking back, even my normal orgasms weren't as satisfying when using porn, and I had started to notice difficulty getting aroused with a sexual partner present. The last straw was realizing I simply couldn't arouse myself to start an Aneros session. I had nothing in the spank bank, as it were. I was completely dependent on outside electronic screens for my sex drive. I'm not cured yet, and have only started with the Aneros, but I think the difference between those that can use porn and the Aneros and those that don't have success combining them is as simple as how reliant a person is on porn to create arousal. This is all about an internal journey, right? If you can internally arouse, with or without external influence, you can start to see some results.

Imo it's okay to do what gets you aroused before a session. When I do start a aneros session I personally prefer focusing on the feeling of pleasure than watching porn. I find focusing on the sensation makes everything stronger.
