I keep reading that sex toys made with phthalates can be harmful, as some of the chemicals leach into the body, and also supposedly are dangerous. How can I be sure that Aneros prostate massagers are phthalate free?

I have looked into that specific issue and it appears that this chemical is found in mainly softer materials, certainly the "jelly-like" toys, but one can never be sure since there is no FDA or Government oversight and/or regulations in relation to the manufacture or use of "martial aids" (sex toys).

I would also like to hear from Aneros to verify that their products are free of this chemical, ...or not.

It'd be best to hear from the manufacturer to determine what the chemical makeup of the product is, but I found this link interesting as a general guide.
