Peridise results and questions

I purchased the Peridise full kit about a month back and used it perhaps 8-10 times. First couple it felt nice but didn't really get anything special. 3rd time was a breakthrough (using the largest 22mm part the whole time) in that I figured out that holding the tension (perhaps 5-6 out of 10) gave some incredible feelings. the great thing was it brought many different sensations, some that felt like somebody was licking at my anus, some that something was swirling inside my anus and some that felt like I was being penetrated gently, all great feelings and a fair bit of muscle spasm and juddering. So I am pretty happy going on down this path, afterall it all feels good....but I have a couple of questions.

1). On the user manual it shipped with it mentions practising with kegels. So doing kegels (what I think they are anyway) during the day and then inserting the peredise that night and then holding a kegel, I don't seem to get anything from the device? So firstly let me clarify kegel for me is squeezing hard what feels like muscle around base of penis and pubic bone. Squeezing fully I get slight tingle along the penis and sort of judder through body. Certainly I have been getting harder erections doing this so pretty sure its correct. During the squeeze I also feel my anus tighten (sensation is that is is just squeezing shut like a camera iris). If I do this with the Peridise inserted it feels like everything is clamping down very hard and I get no movement or sensation from the device....unless..... I relax and instead of squeezing the penis (sensation wise not physically) I just focus on the anus and instead of clamping closed I get the feeling that I am drawing the anus upward into my body. Stopping and holding the tension at about 5-6 out of 10 (which is when I feel it lightly clamped onto the Peridise and within short time, say 5-10 seconds on the good feelings start.
Sorry for the long description but thats how it all feels and the first question is should I be doing kegels and sqeezing the penis (pc?) muscle also or is it strictly the anus clenching I should be doing (and thats giving me the good results at the moment)? if so why does the user manual advise doing kegels? and or am I doing kegels incorrectly?

2). Sometimes I find the sensations are a little harder to get and I will notice the Peridise has gone all the way in, past the second bulb to the T handle, If I manually pull it out a little and let the outer bulb sit on the outside of the anus and when I clench I get this great feeling very quickly and then the movement of the device as it moves around, feels incredible but then ultimately I think the second bulb slips inside again. So question is should I manually be pulling it out, should the second bulb always be outside the anus or inside? I don't use any other devices so pretty sure its all pretty tight down there and not sure why the second bulb would slip into me unless it was designed to, but as mentioned it feels better when its out and device can move around, am I using it correctly?

Appreciate any advise or light anybody can shed on these great devices, incredible how something so small and simple looking can invoke the feelings it has, also changed my thinking away from instant gratification from ejaculation, I see theres a bigger picture now and think I better understand a female orgasm, which will hopefully help me keep my wife happy 🙂
Incidentally there was another discussion on here about ladies trying the device, only got my wife to try it once but she didn't like the feeling of having something in their. Disappointing, but makes me wonder on the difference in anatomy?, I know this isn't designed to put pressure on the prostate, but I get a nice feeling from just having this thing up there, let alone doing the exercises above! Speaking of which I get a nice amount of pre-cum while using this, does anybody know if it actually does give the prostate a little tickle, or is it just from the excitement of using the device and the pleasurable results? If the latter is the case then why wife should be able to achieve the same?

first69,

Welcome to the Aneros Forums

Yes, Kegel exercises are an excellent place to start but they are not the only practice regime you may employ. Since we are all unique individuals, it is reasonable to believe the most efficacious method will also be one which is uniquely adapted to our own individual sensitivities. The user manual is meant to give you some guidelines for getting started, these are not rules which must be strictly followed, just something to get you headed into the experimental journey you've already begun.

So question is should I manually be pulling it out, should the second bulb always be outside the anus or inside? ... am I using it correctly?

From your description of use, I think you are using the device correctly but perhaps a little more aggressively than you need to. You have to understand that a single design unit will not fit everyone perfectly. Different people will have slight anatomical variations so the device is likely to seat itself slightly differently for each of us. You actually have a great deal of control of how the Peridise unit rests in place by varying your body position, type of lubrication you employ and the amount of force you use to create contractions.

...incredible how something so small and simple looking can invoke the feelings it has, also changed my thinking away from instant gratification from ejaculation, I see there's a bigger picture now and think I better understand a female orgasm, which will hopefully help me keep my wife happy 🙂

Yes, I agree with you, as you become more experienced with the pleasures associated with anal stimulation, you become aware of greater possibilities for pleasure not just with your anus but all of your body as well.

Physically both men and women share the same number and extent of muscles and nerve pathways in their anal/rectal tracts so this device should work equally well for her as it does for you. However, you should be aware that not everyone can easily overcome the taboos often associated with anal play. Your wife may also have suffered some psychological trauma associated with anal stimulation in her past (previous lover's unsophisticated aggression?) which may make anal play difficult or impossible to accept. Hopefully you two can talk about and gently resolve any issues which may be troubling her in this regard.

Thanks Rumel for your reply, appreciate your feedback.
I understand what your saying about the fixed rules and it is one thing I have taken from the forums on my first looks, is that its different path for everyone, and just running with what "works" for the individual is actually the way to progress, not necessarily following one others recipe for success. I guess I was just trying to confirm if the road I'm going down is the correct road, as I had some fundamental things with my technique that I wasn't sure of.

cheers,
