Hello fellow forum members, 🙂

I had a wonderful session with my somewhat new Peridise tonight. You can read about it in my Blog if you would like.

http://www.aneros.com/displayblog.php?id=5960

I have a question for the owners of the Peridise models.
While I found the pleasure from these tiny things to be exquisite. I found myself missing the pleasurable girth of the Progasm. Do you think a Peridise that was made to be much wider would work as well and have the same effect while giving a fuller sensation in the anus?
Thanks

Love_is

Love_is,

No, I don't think that a larger Peridise would function in the same way as the current ones do. Actually the device has been designed (balanced) so that it becomes unstable in the anus...leading to a quivering pattern of movement. The larger the unit, the more stable it becomes (the sphincter grips more tightly around it). Greater stability yields less movement.

It's also worth mentioning that there are two sets of Peridise stimulators that are now on the market. Of the two, it is the smaller set that is considered the advanced set. As I said in my original review of this model, this is a case where less is more.

Thank you for your response B Mayfield. 🙂

Makes sense. To bad it works that way. But if keeps blowing my mind the way it did last night, then I can live with it. 😀 And yes, I was aware that the advance set is the smaller of the two. It is the set that I have. Perhaps next session I'll try the smallest Peridise again and see what the difference is in sensation.

Hi Love-is,

>Perhaps next session I'll try the smallest Peridise again and see what the difference is in sensation.<

I think you might not be able to come to a final view until having clocked up hours of use with each device over some time.

I've been trying to discover the relative merits of the four sizes of Peridise. But as one cannot be orgasming for days at a time whilst experimenting, and bearing in mind there are so many other variable factors, and as well there being no means of properly measuring results, I have found this not a quick and easy thing to do.

I can, of course, have marvellous fun with any of the Peridise and Aneros devices - that's what makes a comparitive study so hard to do. I feel that at first one might find that the biggest of the Peridise set was the more effective, as I did, at least until more experience is acquired in which case the smaller might begin to shine more.

After a few months of trying to understand the Peridises, I think I'm coming to the conclusion that the smallest of the Peridise set is, for me, capable of generating the most intense sensations. Both in my Aneros adventuring and my KSMO training I have come to a conclusion that the less one does to promote orgasm the more intense will be the final result. The slimmest Peridise seems to align well with this view.

I agree generally with B Mayfield's view that "..less is more"!

Hi Love_is-

FWIW…I also have the advanced set (20mm and 16mm) and I prefer the smaller of the two because of its mobility. 😀

Love_is,

I have felt for a little while that I am attaining a greater sensitivity to the smaller peridise, but for the life of me I was trying to figure out how to “measure” the difference.

So here’s what I did. Over the course of the last couple of weeks I have taken to putting my finger on the end of the various abutment tabs to gauge how much each unit moves (just lightly – not enough to interfere w/movement). I am amazed at how much the little peridise moves! It is constant. It does indeed quiver.

While I have yet to catch a feel of the progasm as it moves with a P-wave, I have captured both peridie. The little one moves more. Since you can’t always feel the quivering amidst the multitude of sensations, it is also an interesting source of bio-feedback.

As mog points out, you’ve got to clock a lot of hours with these things to begin to categorize all the sensations… so, keep on clocking!

Cool! Thanks J4!
That's a neat experiment you did. It never occurred to me to feel how much they move.
Since I don't plan on stopping Aneros usage. I'll be clocking up more hours as I go. 😀

Great ideas J4, I’ve considered doing the same, but was afraid I’d “ruin the moment,” so never have followed through.

Sometimes my Eupho gives me indescribable pleasure while seemingly not moving whatsoever, maybe it’s just as you say, it’s quivering but I can’t sense it because of sensory overload. 😀

Ahh, the sweet ride in the slow lane on the Aneros super highway.

Here’s to thinking outside the wiki!

Good sessions to all,

I also prefer the smallest Peridise, though I have all four. But I've often wondered why HIH didn't package both smallest in the "Advanced" set and the two largest in the "Beginners" set. Then it would have been a natural progression. Instead they packaged 1 and 3 together and 2 and 4 together.

Anyway, can't wait for the steel ones coming soon ... 😀

Hey I just wanted to add my two cents. I read this post about two hours ago and decided to retry my peridise models. I have had success with them in the past by coincidence and I have tried to recreate that mind numbing experience, which was probably a small super-o, but I couldn't so I stopped trying with those models. I just decided to pick one of the models that wasn't the smallest (I have the whole set) and go with it. I lubed up and inserted it.

This is my point of typing this. Listen to others who have had success with the aneros and take their advice and use your own common sense as well. I decided to take Artic Wolves advice. He made a new video on xtube with commentary, which was very helpful. He said that beginners tend to stick the aneros units in too far, which was what I was doing, even though I’m not necessarily a beginner.

to make a long story short, I choose the peridise and stuck it in halfway to let it "quiver" and build sensation on it's own. I started having contractions, then minio's then a few less prominent dry-o's after that I started to shake inside and tense up, but then everything stopped. Ha ha ha it was probably because my niece came to the door to show me the back of the new 2009 penny. I feel satisfied anyway.

If you are having trouble gaining sensations from any of the aneros models try inserting it in halfway so that it is not "balanced" and "secure" also lube up.
