peridise noob, few questions-

I ordered a helix and an advanced set of peridise that came in a couple days ago.

I ordered the advanced set because funds are lacking and I dont like the idea of having shell out more money later on.

A few questions.

I am new to shoving anything into my rectum. I managed to get the peridise in, the larger of the two- very difficult time relaxing. Im not sure if Im putting it in too far or not, cause after it goes in a certain distance, its kinda sucked in to the hilt! I was expecting some room for it to go in and out, but when it does that, there is very little movement other then when I strain doing a kegel or I bear down.

There is also another spot before I hit the length where it sucks in, but it doesnt really stay in there when i get to a point of deep relaxation. In fact, if I fully inhale, it creates enough internal pressure to push the device to the point of no return and it pops out. I find I have to force myself to not breathe too deep to avoid it ejecting.

Something is telling me I shoulda gotten the begginer set.

Though I will say this, there are interesting sensations when I have it in, but nothing even close to sexual... feels like Ive got a wind up nob in my butt and its spinning. Thats while its in. Ive noticed very very subtle ticklish feelings in my rectum off and on throughout the day since playing with these new toys, and I can feel new 'tone' to my pelvic floor for sure.

The helix.... I have mild hemmoroids... I noticed the first day I put it in, everything itched. That feeling has pretty much gone, tho on occasion when the peridise is in, I can feel like a mild throbbing (asexual for sure... similar to hemmaroid flare ups) even tho my hemmaroids arent acting up.

Also, the helix, doesnt feel like much other then Ive got a hard turd in my butt when its in. BORING! Im pretty sure my prostate sits low cause I pulled it out slow and there was a point where I had a strange mix of itchy hemmaroid feelings, feeling like I gotta poop, and feeling like I had to pee at the same time- quite sure that was my prostate. Kinda depressing, as if this model is gonna be no good to me unless I modify it in some fashion.

Ok, so my questions-
- will playing with these toys about a total of 45 min/day perhaps split between 2 sessions- will that stretch my spinchters out?

-if I am not going to purchase the begginers set, should I just hold off using the peridise till my muscles become developed from using the helix?

-if I use a 'buffer' to modify the helix, and perhaps its not fitting right, is there danger of stretching internal spinchters?

-how do I know what the right distance is to put the peridise in? the directions say to manually put it in till Im able to suck it in with my muscles, but that kinda conturdicts advice to completely relax and also, for me, when i push it in far enough for my muscles to take over... it gets buried to the hilt. (Im 6' btw)

...and yes, I have read enough to know to relax as much as possible, and to do my best to let go and release goal centered focus when dealing with this stuff

First, I am not sure a 20 minute session will be of much effect. I think the guidelines suggest about 20 minutes of complete relaxation with the Helix just to let your body get used to it. I would consider setting aside at least a full hour per session in the beginning.

It sounds as if you were expecting some spectacular results immediately and that is not what 'rewiring' is about. It takes time and the sensations are very subtle especially in the beginning.

Sounds like the Peridise is placed correctly when your body 'automatically' pulls it into position. And the sensations are extremely subtle in the beginning. I have been using the Peridise for about a month and still have to really pay attention to feel the pleasurable sensations.

I do know that re-reading the Wiki and the instructions on the Aneros site after using the devices for a while has been helpful to me. Once I have a little experience with anything new the instructions always make a little more sense to me. That is when I seem to have the "aha" moments and think "So that was what that feeling was!".

B Mayfield's post at http://www.aneros.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=767&highlight=fly is a wonderful resource of 'real world' information also.

Hello joee, 🙂

If the Peridise pops out, then you have not inserted it completely. It's not going to stick out much. Nor does it move in and out in huge amounts. It's subtle. Like all of my Aneros, I push it in to the hilt to make sure it is inserted completely and properly.

These are classic new Aneros user responses. Very rarely do guys get much of any pleasurable sensations right from the start. This is a journey that can take time. I'm at almost two years and have not achieved a super-O yet. But I do get very pleasurable sensations from my Aneros sessions. I recommended you read the following forum thread.

Like helixbill said, 22.5 minute sessions really isn't enough time, particularly for a new user. Shoot for no less than one hour per session. And there is no stretching involved. It's about learning to relax your anal muscles. When it no longer feels uncomfortable when inserted, you know you have relaxed.

-if I use a 'buffer' to modify the helix, and perhaps its not fitting right, is there danger of stretching internal spinchters?

I've never tried this. But I don't think it will. The link I posted above talks about that.

Keep practicing, relax, make no expectations of your sessions, and be patient, there are things about this journey that you have to experience for yourself no matter what you read here.
