Peredise question(s) and something interesting....

Congratulations, inhope, on some progress. As we hear on here all the time, patience is of the essence. Little steps are progress. It can be a very slow process.

If you look at the shopping section of this site, there are pictures of all the models. There you can see that the 2 are the larger of the 4. I've had almost all models, and they all served me well, but i now only have the 2 larger, and they are all i need.

Also, on here there is large emphasis on forgetting about your penis at first in order to rewire the brain to experience the prostate, since we have since youth concentrated on our penis. As someone with ED for a rather long time, probably due to year of Diabetes, i envy your erection. However, there is no need to have a stiff cock in order to have prostate orgasms. This is my short answer.

I'm sure i have the smallest one and the largest one of the 4? So the peridise is the only one thats worked for you? other models not so good?

I know penis being hard isn't needed to achieve orgasm. I'm saying that its hard and i can't do a thing about it because of the prostate pleasure.

Here is what i mean in a more detailed manor:

I only feel pleasure in my prostate when my penis starts achieving an erection, I'm not thinking of anything sexual, or my penis, or of being erect but when i contract any device and get prostate stimulation it causes me to get an erection, weather i want it or not. If you number the sizes 1 to 4, smallest to largest, it looks like your set is 1 and 3, just judging by the roundness of the bulb at the tip and the slope of the sides of the lower part of the bulb tapering towards the shaft. However, the pair at www.aneros.com/product/peridise/ appears to be 2 and 4, not 1 and 3, and has a black background, whereas your package has a red background.

Maybe you can take measurements of the photos for a more definitive comparison. The maximum bulb width divided by the total length might provide the clearest indication of exactly which ones you have.

I suspect they manufacture only the set of 4 seen at www.aneros.com/product/peridise-complete-set/ and www.highisland.com/detail.php?categoryid=1&productid=19 , then split them into 1&3 and 2&4 pairs for the more affordable packages. Which pair you happen to get may well be random. They'd do better to be more open about it so customers could choose between the two packages.

Have you tried calling them? They may be willing to send you the 2&4 pair at a reduced price given your heroic persistence, which has become pretty famous here on the forum. Congratulations!

Congrats on making a good step forward. I can't say I've had quite the same type response you've had from the Peridise. I usually use mine (the larger of the two) as a lead-in to the Helix. It makes the Helix part of the session move along easier. I can reach something more like a mini-O with the Peridise, but I usually switch over when I reach that point.

I do find that I get an erection when I start to reach an orgasmic state. It seems that the erection is directly tied to the increasing pleasure in my prostate. I don't get too focused on the erection, though. I just recognize it as another sign that I'm entering a "happy place".

If I were to guess I'd say things will continue to change in a good way for you. Your body's response may not always be quite how it is now, but it will still be very good if not much better. That was my general experience at least.

For me, all have been good, but i moved recently. That is a good time to simply one's belongings, and i have just retained the 2 Peridse because that is enough for me. Many i had were just not being used by me anymore so i gave them away hoping they would be used.

@inhope,@TekWiz is right. For reasons known only to the Aneros company, they used to market the largest, (22mm), and the third largest, (18mm), Peridise models as the "Basic" or "Beginners" set and the other two as "Advanced".

The manufacturers, (HIH), sell them individually but advise that the largest should be your first one and you should work through them to the smallest. Hence, the most advanced model (by this reasoning), is the smallest.

You might also note that the Peridise models are not marketed as, nor are they intended to be prostate massagers per se. They are intended to be used for the relief of haemorrhoids. The pleasure one experiences from their use seems to be that they stimulate nerves in the entire rectal/anal area. For some users, (me included), they do this extremely well and I can't say that I can feel any focus particularly on my prostate. If I am looking for that, I will use one of the dedicated prostate massagers such as the MGX or Helix.

If you find that, as a byproduct of Peridise use, you manage to get an erection and that pleases you, that is terrific, enjoy!

@pommie I get noticeable prostate pleasure and stimulation from the smallest peridise. I almost orgasmed using it (as well as having more prolonged pleasure) which is much better than any other device I've used in 4 years of trying, that shouldn't be possible should it? Then again I see others saying they super o with the peridise, and all other devices fail to work at all.

@inhope, Im glad you are finding some progress. Aneros does not sell the peridise as prostate massagers though I would have to suspect they do make some contact and massage the prostate very lightly. Without a P tab to allow the device to rock forward the pressure the peridise applies will be very slight, though this obviously works better for you anyways, so I say just go with it!!! As you said before It doesnt really matter what they were designed for, as long as they work, thats a good thing. Keep up the good work, stay relaxed and stay not focusing on your penis/erections and you should do well. Nothing you havent heard a million times im sure, but I just like to reiterate the important factors lol.
