People's ignorance of MMO's.

Okay, I don't know where else to post this thread, but I guess it's somewhat related to Aneros.

First and foremost, the ONE thing that upsets me is how ignorant people are about the male body and what it's actually capable of. Even most males themselves don't know their true sexual potential.

Multiple orgasms used to be a female-only thing. But over the years scientists are discovering more and more things that we've never knew before, that is--men can have multiple orgasms, too. But unfortunately, the general population seem to be totally clueless about this fact.

For example, when I tell other people about how men are also capable of having multiple orgasms, they would all gang up on me and tell me how "wrong" and "false" that is and vehemently still believe that men can only cum once, although that's only because they're looking at it from a "penile" perspective. Of course everyone knows that once a man ejaculates, the refractory period kicks in and it's over for him. But then, they have no idea about their prostate gland... a part of the body that pretty much gets neglected in male sexuality.

Anyways, I'll tell them about the "prostate gland" and the potential to have multiple non-ejaculatory orgasms through this gland alone, and how there's no refractory period through this male-specific gland, but of course they'll continue to be stubborn and assume that I'm BSing. It doesn't matter if I show them all the facts, they will assume it's fake or made up without thinking.

Seriously, how do I deal with such ignorant people? Its gotten to a point where I just wanna scream and pull my hair out, because none of them are taking what I say seriously. In other words, they're not open to new facts and ideas. Anything that goes against their old beliefs pretty much becomes irrelevant to them. Since the beginning of time, men have always been capable of MMO's... the only difference was that it wasn't discovered until the early 2000's, so the information is still quite new. I just wish more people knew about this instead of being so ignorant.

I guess spreading awareness would help but it'll be a long, long time before "male multiple orgasms" become the norm.

I completely sympathize with your feelings but not all men are too closed minded to pursue the adventure of a MMO lifestyle possibility. The very existence of this growing forum of men and women attests to that. While we are all ignorant to a certain extent about a great number of topics, sharing and educating our fellow humans elevates us all out of our ignorance. There will always be those who will ignore the information available to them and their ignoring keeps them ignorant. This is unfortunate but you know it is the truth. I hope you won't let those of limited thinking emotionally disturb you, instead look for those who have the curious mind to explore the rich possibilities of their own existence. Those are the individuals who are deserving of your effort and energy to educate. The knowledge of MMO's has been known for thousands of years in ancient eastern traditions, it is only more recently that western culture has begun to understand the wisdom held in these older philosophies.

The internet has made the sharing of this ancient wisdom more possible than ever before. If you want to help educate your fellow males may I suggest you start cataloging those sources which deal with MMO's and make those resources available to all who seek this information. In a small way, I've tried to initiate a similar idea with the thread Ideas for Spreading the Word... with thoughts about disseminating information about Aneros usage and demystifying anal/prostate play which can lead one into the MMO realm.

I guess spreading awareness would help but it'll be a long, long time before "male multiple orgasms" become the norm.

Maybe not so long as you might think. Initial ideas/concepts sometimes only need to reach a certain 'critical mass' before they explode into general acceptance, we just need to keep adding to the informational mass. Good Vibes to You !

@rumel as usual, spot on.

@SpreadingAwareness next time just go into a detailed description of your latest MO/Super O. Be smug and make them jealous.

Hey @SpreadingAwareness,

I can totally relate. I often browse 9gag, which is mostly used by teenagers and young adults. Sex releated posts are quite common there and the comment-section is super cringe-worthy almost every single time. No matter the topic: anal sex, female ejaculation (squiriting), anatomy... gender clichés and blissfull ignorance everywhere. Sometimes, I seem to take a controversial statement personally -don't no why... But replying in a topic with 500 comments is the literal drop in the ocean, so I never made the effort.

MMO's are really a big thing and I understand your urge to spread the word - I feel that urge too. But don't become obsessed with it - frustration can be a very toxic thing. Enjoy what you have for yourself and stop looking for followers. Just like with everything in life, they most likely come all by themselves, when you are not looking for them. 🙂

Cheers, Unfug

Honestly, I dont think a lotof guys would willingly show interest if they have not been exposed to any anal pleasure. You planted a seed in their mind. My guess if they were open to _hat you said, they will explore in secret. Too many guys think it is not manly ormay change their sexual orientation. Its a silly social stigma, but a lot of people have fallen prey to it. I say plant the occasional seed and see if anyone ever comes back to you in a few months

If it's any indication, the whole reason I ended up here essentially started because of an article about the P-Spot on AskMen of all places.
But most guys are going to go through school with a boy-meets-girl mentality, and that will intrinsically follow through to sex. Their 'greater' experience is sharing the love, especially if she's attractive. That's all they need.

MMO and anal play is an insular experience in so far as it involves the mind, toys and whatnot. Interaction isn't required. Even if you share great ways to masturbate with guys, you'd be raising some eyebrows unless you mean it jokingly.
