Hello chaos snake,

I'm not sure if it is normal, assuming there is nothing outside of your body causing the Helix to move. When the P-tab slips, does it take something away, or distract you from your experience during the session?

The only time I've noticed the P-tab move to the side is when I lay on my back. Then the handle/tail makes contact with my bed which any little movement of my hips can cause the P-tab to move around either from side to side, or up and down. If this is the case, then cutting off the handle/tail is the cure for this problem. There is some discussion about this in the following link:

When I start to get contractions and the p-tab starts pressing on the sweet spot is when it slips to the side. Last night I think I found a fix though. I cut a fabric band aid and wrapped the p-tab with it. The extra bit of friction helped it stay in place.

I too will experience some side slippage from time to time. If pulling inward in too hard a contraction can cause that, but usually it is preceded by pushing outward too much on the aneros. If I push too hard outward the p-tab loses contact with the perineum and when I contract in again it will tend to slip into a different position on the sides. Also, like Love-Is says, this really only happens on my back. If I am on my side, things usually stay where they should.

Good fix with the band-aid, friction enhancement.

Hello again chaos snake,

From what you are telling us in your second post, it kind of sounds like maybe some lube dripped, or got rubbed onto either the end of the P-tab, or your perineum. But if that were the case, I'd be inclined to think that the fabric band-aid trick would not have worked. Well, whatever it is, you found a fix. That's all that matters. 🙂

Im not sure what the Helix P-Tab looks lie but if its anything like the Progasm's I would recomend you keep it centered on your "sweet spot" as they call it. I had the problem for a while that the P-Tab
would slip all the way to one side or the other and I wouldnt notice for a minute or two but this would only happen when I got realy realy hard so I just realigned it each time it happened and now it doesnt happen but once in a blue moon. It is worth mentioning that it took time for it to stay where I wanted it and I have been at it for 13 months now. By the way...Chaos Snake is a cool name.
