Just wanted to make a quick post that will hopefully help some people.

Just for a little background first, I'm a 26 year old male who had never tried anything like this before. (If there are any ladies who want to help let me know 😉 (joke)

I got my Aneros recently, the first time I used it, it was very intense, (guess I'm just more sensitive). It was great though haven't had a super O yet it still feels amazing.

The problem I had/having is its over stimulation, later after I stopped it felt like an itch I couldn't scratch, it felt good but like nerves were being pushed in ways they hadn't before.

This could be very nice but also very aggravating over the course of a day etc. Its almost like too much good senstations. Hard to describe but you know it when you hit it

Heres a list of things that worked for me to make me feel better (make it more bearable):

1) Avoid Alcohol..it tends to make you feel it more

2) Avoid Hot Showers....again it makes you feel it more

3) Aleve tended to help make it more bearable, I took one and its helped a lot

4) Avoid sitting on your butt all day (if you can)...laying down on your stomach tends to make it feel better as well

Of all the problems with guys not being able to feel anything etc, I feel very lucky to have a very intense experience at first, even if it was a little too intense and have been paying for it the next day.

Hope this helps someone.

Know all about the "aftershocks." It sometimes seems you'll go back into an O a day or two later. Sometimes these can be fuel for mini-O's without the device in if a person opens themselves to it. They too are a new experience. In fact they can come at will now, whenever and wherever you want I think it's part of the "re-wire" but whatever it is be glad we got it and hang in there.

ohmy06,

How long did the "overstimulation" go on for? a day? a week etc?

Guys,

It's not necessary to reply with a quote EVERYTIME. This really weighs down the forum. It's just kind of silly when you have to scroll down the entire page just to read one or two sentences.

EKA,

Depends, sometimes a day, sometimes longer. To me it's the sensation that an orgasm is just a contraction away and it can be. Anytime, anywhere, in the car, at the office, etc.

Whatever you call them aftershocks, afterglow, or echos. I really enjoy those feelings and kind of look foreward to them. They usually last a day or two and are more pronounced after a good long session with the helix.
