Originally I was in the middle of a session and "toyed" with asking this while it was happening...

I started out my session like I always do - used the bathroom, laid out a towel, got comfortable and had a puff (it works for me). Usually at this point I settle in and look at some Literotica or porn just to flip some initial switches. (Like I know some have said, outside influences eventually become more of a distraction than anything. Just having to put the phone down is a pain when you're in that zone.) I continue to try and initiate things till I feel that building in places. At this point, I would normally begin to work myself up to inserting my toy of choice - stroking my skin in places - nipples, back of thighs, whatever feels good. Usually, my body would be screaming for it. This time however, I never got that far. I've enjoyed a-less time but it never went too far. It was always something to enjoy when you didn't really have the chance to have a real session. But, when normally I would reach a small plateau and switch to the toy, things kept building. And then kept building some more. And so on. Until I was just about enjoying full blown orgasms one after another. Ironically, I felt in some way like I was steering the movements inside just like I would with a toy in there. It was just wonderful. 

My question was going to be, or is, do people find things get better when you add the toy in to a session like that? Like, will it get even better? My guess would be a mixed bag of answers ranging from you could lose it all by changing things to it would be more of the same to yes it would get better. Just curious what others experiences have been. 

All this said, I did not get out the toy. Didn't have to lube up, didn't have to clean up anything beyond pre-cum which didn't require me getting up. Honestly, enjoying the session and just drifting off into the arms of sheep and continuous throbbing of my prostate was a really nice perk.
