Hello, long time user…first time poster.

My current helix needs to be replaced because the outer silicone layer is falling off from some good usage :-). My wife loves this thing…or rather that I like it more than I think I do…which of course makes it fun.  She has her toys and I think she just wants me to participate too.

Anyway, I’m trying to figure out which one I should get…she loves the vibrations of her vibratory against her clitoris of course…and I’ve seen that there are lots of varieties now.  There are some that have a “come hither” motion and those are tempting, but I don’t really want to spend $200 only to find out it’s gimmicky….it might work…I don’t know.

My orgasms are for sure much much better, but I haven’t yet had a dry orgasm…and that is what I have been striving for…I think I’ve been close…I’ve felt those sensations building and then I run out of patience and finish things off w/the mrs…and that’s not a bad thing…I just envy the multiple ones she’s having…I know I may never see her level…that is fine, but I do think the Big non-ejaculatory O is obtainable…and I want it 🙂

I wonder if I need a bigger one and there are bigger ones sold here…but then I wonder if the bigger is just more fantasy than reality…don’t know.  Is there something to this…or should I just go w/the syn helix again and keep trying w/some good patience?

OR should I get the vibrating version?  I’m really not sure.  Yeah, I’d love to try them all…but there’s not exactly an easy way to do that w/out purchasing all of them.

There’s the large Progas Vice 2…but is it really better than the syn…or just larger, thus more full feeling.  I like full, but I’d rather get what’s best to achieve the big O.

I’m assuming there’s more in the forums around all of these questions, so sorry for adding another.

Thx!

I really think the Helix Syn V is a great model, and the vibrations have nothing to do with it (I don't really use the vibes).  To me the traditional Helix is too rigid.  They Helix Syn is great but the arms are too flimsy.  The Helix Syn V is the best of both worlds.  It's slightly larger than either model, it's soft, but the arms are more rigid than the Syn model.

I have both the HSV and Vice2 and enjoy them both with and without vibration! Glad to hear your wife enjoys the stimulation! The Vice2 is a bit larger and also has a remote and 18 different patterns. Your wife could control it while you’re having sex and drive you both into a wild frenzy!

@primrose

Welcome .

Personally, I prefer the smaller ones. I have Eupho (Standard) and Progasm JR. With smaller aneros I feel there is room for the pleasure to vary in different intensities. Both work great. Between these 2, I prefer Eupho.

On my second purchase (Progasm JR) I followed some comparative advice from users. I think you already have all the tools to achieve super O.

Helix is well balanced.

Your second purchase should perhaps follow your curiosity 😉

@Primrose you may want consider the Maximus if you are craving a fuller feel.  This model is underrated IMHO and doesn’t get that much press.   It provides  a firmer pressure on the perineum if you like that ( I do!) but has the mobility of some of the smaller models versus models like the Progasm.  I have had some of my best Os with it!  Good luck finding your next ride…each one provides a unique sensation but I find none really disappoint!

I don’t see the one I had.  It was surely one of the helix models - maybe the original syn…the base was black on one and red on the other.

Which of the current is the closest to it?

thanks again for all of the feedback!

The Helix SYN Trident is the closest to the original Helix SYN. The switch to the Trident style lead to the demise of the old 'curly' handle/tail.

Good Vibes to You!

Whaaaaaaaat???  How long have you had it?  Are you using silicone lube?  Or some other lube that isn't recommended?  What happened?  Have you tried contacting Aneros support?  I don't know whether this is a defective product or due to operator error but I haven't necessarily heard of too many of either!  How does the outer silicone layer fall off???

Aneros does not provide a product guarantee for decomissioned models, it's been years since the original syn models was replaced. The silicone isn't glued to the stem (it's not possible to glue silicone), instead it uses reinforced 'ribs' and 'tabs' to adhere it to the base.

There is no defect in the product, it's just the nature of silicone. I've also have a syn model, and sometimes it 'glue' itself inside, so i get a kinda rubberband response when i try to pull it out. Add several years of use and wear and tear, and the flexible silicone coating will eventually flex and come loose. It has nothing to do with operator error, or the use of the wrong products.

@brailleskin Interesting, it's just that I've never heard of that happening.  I have the original Helix Syn but now use the Helix Syn Trident, more than any other model, and thankfully it's never happened to me!  I've had it since it first came out.  And of course, it's still my favorite model, just look at my avatar pic.  I guess if you want another recommendation for it, I'm giving it!
