I am looking to get another aneros. I have been thinking the eupho trident or the mgx trident.
I have the helix syn and programs ice.
can any one tell me truthfully. Does those ridges on the bottom do anything? Can you really feel them? Maybe you can describe what they feel like during a session compared to all the other smooth version toys. Also I know it's all personnel preference and everyone reacts to each toy differently. Just trying to see what toy maybe everyone is having the best luck or joy with.
If it helps I'm 5'7 about 165lbs. I have been at this for a few years. Really nothing big as happened with my helix or program. In the last month where my leaps forward. One quick dry orgasm that felt like I came everywhere. Mostly just gentle pleasure while the toys are in. The feeling of it trying to build and take me to new places but that's usually the end. The other night I had my first true involuntary body shaking and convulsing. The feeling that the toy was going to fly up in my ass and get stuck. It just kept massaging away. No dry o or super o but it felt great. I feel I'm there or almost. Just a few more sessions and I'm going to hit the big one for the second time and it's going to be huge.

I started with the progasm ice and helix syn. Now also own both the eupho-T and mgx-T.
With mgx ou CAN feel the ridges, particularly when flexing, not so much without movement. Though feeling them is pleasurable, I find them a little distracting, end up mentally focusing on my sphincters rather than my prostate and perenium?

Considering you've been at this a few years, I have no reservations recommending the eupho-T, as you will have developed the musculature down there to get the most out of it.

Seeing as you are so close to a super, you might be better off sticking with your existing model. Buying a new one to build excitement and freshen things up should you feel like progress is slowing.

I've used the mgx for 14 years and I have never really noticed the ridge things much. They are quite subtle. But maybe my model is so old that it's been changed a little bit, maybe the ridges are bigger now? I love the mgx, it always gets me plenty of Os 🙂

@techpump I have to disagree. My SGX and MGX both have noticeable ridges and are not subtle at all. I will use them for a session when I want more than my prostate "exercised". And these models seem to produce an almost immediate erection!

I don’t have the MGX but the Eupho Trident certainly gets my vote. It is by far my favourite, so much so that I am trying to “ration” myself and only use it when I am nicely primed.

I have had the mgx-t for about a week now and for me I don't really feel the ridges but I feel them. I know that probably doesn't make sense but what I mean is I don't really feel them but it just feels different than the helix syn that I also have. It does seem to add a little extra stimulation after awhile I just don't notice it initially.

Dang I want that side effect! Next time I use it I'll try to pay more attention to the ridges. The contact on my prostate is so good it might be bypassing my ability to feel the ridges. Maybe I do feel them every time but don't pay attention, now I want to know!!

How soon till my wife comes home?? lol

@techpump You may want to try different lubes with the MGX/SGX. If I get sufficient movement with them, I will feel the ridges. If not much movement, then I guess they "disappear". I wouldn't worry too much about getting the added stim. It is 'built-in' to these massagers and will work when you need it.

I never gave the MGX a chance, viewing it as a beginner model. I read a few positive reviews of the new MGX Trident and decided I had to try it for myself and I was not disappointed. It took a couple sessions with it to learn how it operates, so to speak, but proves to be one great device. I use it fairly often now and has been my go to for several weeks now.

I can feel the ridges almost every session I use it, especially when things get moving down there and I use silicone lube w/o prelubing. I have come to appreciate a little less lube, which seem to enhance how well I can feel the device making contact. I am now curious how the MGX Classic operates and may add one to my collection soon.

Dogmen, I have the Helix and MGX, both Tridents, and though I'm still a rookie, there's a noticeable difference. I absolutely do feel and love the ridges, and the contact with my prostate feels a bit more pronounced as well. Also, it's a bit more fulfilling, in a literal sense. But the special thrill I've discovered that the MGX delivers far better is pulling it out about halfway, and letting the muscles in my sphincter and pelvic floor pull it back in and seat it themselves. The pleasure of feeling this automatic response is incredible, and while the Helix feels good when I do this too, the bottom section of the Helix is more bulbous, and doesn't slide in quite all the way, or with such a bang. Try it. My guess is you won't be disappointed with the MGX or this trick. I haven't felt the thrill of any Os or wet things, etc, but the pleasure and tingles are wonderful in and of themselves. Best, and happy Aneriding.

Thanks for all the great reviews. I am still torn between the eupho and mgx trident's. They both are getting good reviews. It sucks spending money on these things to find out one works or one doesn't but thats the way it is right now. I'm sure I'll get both and find which one is better or if I like them both.

I would recommend both ET and MGXT. I have purchased almost all the Aneros line, with the exception of Progasm Jr./Vice/DeVice/and Tempo. I think the only massager that doesn't seem to do much for me is the Helix Trident and Classic. They used to be awesome, but lately they have not done much at all for me. This will probably change in the future; your favorites have a tendency to change from time to time. Good luck with your choice; can't go wrong either way IMO.

I’ve used the MGX Classic on and off for the past few years...I can feel the ribs in the anal canal...but the sensations are not really strong enough to say they add a lot of pleasure value. I have been using the Eupho-T for about 8 months now...for me it’s hands down more enjoyable...I also use Helix Classic and have always liked it better than MGX.
