Hello everyone! I'm 50. Ive been married for 23 years. Great sex life. I recently became aware of prostate massage while researching natural remedies for enlarged prostate. In the past couple months I've tried a couple vibrating types. Ive also gotten A silicone plug, a glass beaded dildo, even a realistic dildo. All of these have worked but in very limited ways. I stumbled on aneros and ordered the Maximus because I don't consider myself a beginner when it comes to size ( my dildo is nearly 8 inches long and 1.5" diameter. And lately Ive been thinking it's too small...) I've used the Maximus 4 times with no results. Well, the last time I used it ifound that if I pull back on the rear tab while doing kegels and push it in to the absolute hilt, it starts to just barely make contact with my prostate. So im Very disappointed. The problem is it is also painful the way the front tab is forced against my skin. It seems like if it was a little longer or had a more radical angle it would hit the spot.
Based on your experience, y'all, which model would you recommend? I don't know if this matters but I'm 6 feet tall and weigh about 180 pounds. I should also mention that of all my toys, the one that comes the closest to milking my p spot is the dildo using a slow thrusting motion almost all the way out then back in to the hilt over and over. I've come really close to orgasm this way and have had lots of precum drooling out but no orgasm. BTW, my prostate is benefitting. I'm not peeing as much and am generally feeling better. While ive had some success, (I dont want to look a gift horse in the mouth, but if I'm going to do this I'd like to go all the way, right?!)
So that's why I'm here. I really think my answer is in the aneros line. I just need a point in the right direction. Thanks in advance!
RJ

The Helix is a good all round device (either classic or Syn) and the Peridise can be discreetly worn under clothing whilst seated.

@RJ Rimes Congratulations on your achievements and welcome to Aneros! I am about the same size and weight as you and even my smallest massager is effective. You should realize that the Aneros massagers are all designed to be hands-free! Your plugs/dildos are obviously much larger than even the largest Aneros (Progasm). IMHO, you have to decide if you will "commit" to learning Aneros hands-free and become properly "re-wired" or are you just using Aneros as another "tool" to milk your prostate. They generally are not used as milking tools. When you decide on your course of action, I hope that you will give Aneros a proper "introductory period" for you to learn all the subtleties these devices can offer! Good luck to you!

Thank you chestinut and goldenboy for your responses and encouragement! The helix and the peridise are on my wish list as a matter of fact!! I was sharing my frustrations with my wife (who knows me better than I know myself...my impatience especially!), and she pretty much said the same thing you did, goldenboy. She said to not give up on it and not expect it to be like the others, to put them on the back shelf and to just focus on the aneros, get to know it and in time it will work for me. So I'm going to follow her and your advice and see what happens. Either way, I'm excited about the journey ahead!
Thanks again and Blessings to you all!
RJ
