I got my aneros about a year ago....i remember when i very first used it i saw stars upon insertion. it felt really good against my prostate...i had alot of anal twitching which felt great and i had had no control over it...i thought WOW!!!!! this is the feeling i have been searching for my whole life. but sadly it just went away as fast as it came. I followed the directions to a T but could not repoduce what had happened before. I became obsessed with trying to "make it happen". Including trying to manipulate it manually. but all that did was cause me pain in the end. I had made attempt after attempt put hours and hours onto trying to feel what i have read about even dreamed about it. But every time after insertion it would feel good at first and then seem to not hit the spot for long. I have read the Wiki....studied every word.....still nothing....i admit i have had some times were i felt like something was building up and then it would go away and go back to feeling like there was just something stuck up my butt. i even just gave up at one point and tryed different models....i pretty much use the helix. But just recently i started again. i realize now YOU cannot make this happen....i always thought it had to be this really hard and deep contraction to massage the prostate.....but its not.....it is just like Wiki says......the movement is small and gentle. i have felt something i have never felt before....and it was great.....i guess i'm going thru the rewiring process now...

Has anybody else had this type of experience if so am i on the road to the Super "O"????

also i'm not clear on one thing... when you are doing your contractions are you supposed to gently push out after you pull in.

Hi South7856,

I agree with Darwin 110%! Stay the course, you are on to it. And the contractions? Forget them for a while, it will all come together. Sorry you had to be so delayed in getting to this point, but I am glad you made it.

Hi South7856,

Welcome to the Forum.

The frustration you experienced is not unusual for new Aneros users. There is a common misunderstanding you can make things happen through use of more force, stronger contractions or manual manipulation, the opposite is actually a more successful technique, as you have now discovered. There are a variety of contraction techniques which may be useful, but it is more about experimenting with combinations to find what works well for you. Forget about “… supposed …” , this is a trap, all the tips and techniques you have read in the Forum or the WIKI are things to try which have worked for some other guys. It sounds like you have realized the key to the “rewiring” process is being psychologically open to allowing the process to happen and NOT trying to force it to happen. ‘darwin’ and ‘Buster’ are right, just forget about the contractions for now, focus on the P-waves and the subtle motions which cause them to occur. You are on the road to the Super-O, enjoy the scenery along the route.

Thanks, South7856. Its encouraging to hear from others who are also struggling with making progress. I've been helixing for six months and agree that the very first experience was the best. I think this is due to all the new sensations coming at you from different directions. After that first time, everything rapidly came to a standstill. The sensations were so unremarkable that I usually lost focus and fell asleep. Hours of research on the Wiki and forum posts and hours of experimentation didn't improve the situation any. Lately, I've started using stronger contractions and have discovered some very pleasurable and intense sensations, but I would categorize them as more penile related rather than anything that would develop into the Super 'O'. I figured its better that than nothing at all and I believe I may be seeing some payoff. Yesterday, for the first time, I could feel arousal in the prostate gland and the sensation stayed discernable for almost an hour. Usually, when I feel aroused, I get an erection and all sensation is centered around the penis. This new sensation makes me wonder if the strong contractions using the Aneros help to ennervate the area surrounding the prostate and increase sensitivity. If my theory holds, the more subtle sensations the experts describe should eventually become apparent. If such is the case, then all our time with strong contractions won't be totally wasted. And all the other newbies will fall down in gratitude at our discovery and idolize us. Now, that ought to make our prostates swell with pride!

Glad to hear that you've made a major discovery. I, too, am impressed with how long you've kept at it.

I to am on that road for almost a year or longer ,my collection is the helix, progasm and the peridise set.
I switch between them but not the progasm, gonna use that when i'm further down the road.
The pleasure i have is very minor but i feel it's like i'm progressing and i still enjoy these tiny pleasure moments and in brief moments i felt what is out there and that's gonna be a hell of a ride.
I just try to relax with no expectations and just enjoy what's comming.

valliant: how can you have the progasm and not use it? I'm no expert but for me the progasm does the most of all the models. I would recommend you give that one some of your time. I generally start my sessions with either the helix or the mgx and then switch to the progasm.
No super O for me, but the progasm has given me my best sessions

thhn

Thanks for the input on the prograsm. I always wondered if it would provide additional stimulation and help get me past the doldrums. I ordered mine on Monday and am now even more eager for it to arrive.

I would like to be able to relax and enjoy the sensations, but for me if I relax -- nothing happens. After about ninety minutes, I finally give up. The time would have been better spent learning to whistle through my navel. I've thought I was fairly intune with my body, but now I believe I'm on the bottom of the learning curve. Oh well...someone has to bring up the rear...

slipperybugger: I have had the same thing happen many times with nothing happening if I take the "do nothing approach" and I think I must have tried every trick know to man to make something happen. Sometimes taking the aggressive approach will result in pleasurable sensations, however, I have had the best results from total relaxation. That part is not easy for me but would recommend you don't give up that route

Thanks, thhn, for the encouraging feedback and support. As South7856 describes, those strong contractions do give an interesting pleasurable sensation but are not going to take us further down the path. However, the new sensations I've begun feeling in the prostate may be a result of my previous "work". I will be much more relaxed now that I feel something has kick-started. Before I was getting anxious that my prostate was a proverbial dead horse.

Well i did use the progasm a couple of times in the beginning but felt not so comfortable.
I'm just getting into anal toys and will use it after i'm more at ease with such big toys.
But thanks for the info.

1. Relax for five minutes
2. Start to gently rock hips
3. Fantasize
4. Enjoy the ride

Works for me.

I would not continue to use the progasm if it is causing discomfort. The size it what I think does it for me. I really like the fullness it provides, but that's just me. I liked it first time I tried it.
If it didn't feel good I'm sure I would have a different opinion
