So, it's been said before and I've read most of the discussions I could find on it. But I feel nothing. A lot talk about it's all about relaxactoin and being ok with it and the stigma. But believe me. I"m fine with anal play and having things around and in it. I know I'm relaxed. It's not even a thing where I don't feel it on my prostate... I almost don't even feel the toy at all after a while. I can't feel it moving at all as I constrict and relax my muscle. I don't feel it in there, and I don't feel it moving. I don't feel it on the perinium or anything. This is really starting to disappoint me. I've search google too for sources other than the aneros forum on how to use it, and tried suggestions there. I just can't seem to get any feeling from it at all.
Kamcknig, How long have you had your aneros model for? Ive heard this before although it does suprise me that you cant feel the p-tab. The shape of the aneros is designed to curve towards the prostate to make subtle stimulation. If you have been playing with didlo's and vibes, perhaps you were expecting a similar feeling? The toy is not overly big and should fit snug in most males, comfortable enough that ive read people go running with it in! (i strongly recommend you dont do this).
"This is really starting to disappoint me" - I really understand why it would, however this is not going to help you to get good results. Relaxation is important but only partly what needs to be achieved by the mind for success.
The aneros models really do require training, how much depends on the individual (anywhere form months to years!). I dont think youve awakened your prostate yet, this simply takes time and cant be rushed, However i would think that any negative attitude carried into your sessions would slow this process due to the fact your trying to relate the stimulation your feeling to pleasure.
My advice - Stick with it, practise and educate yourself in the subject and in due time the aneros model will reward you for it. Ive never heard anyone on the forum that has put in the hard yards and achieved the super-O than say it wasnt worth it.
@kancknig, it would be very helpful if you give some more information
How long have you been using the Aneros?
How often do you use it?
What model(s) Aneros do you have?
How long are your sessions with Aneros?
We all seem to progress at different rates so it can be frustrating if the expectations are too high or the desire for gratification is too strong. It takes time for the prostate to take the rest of you seriously! I think that is why it is called a rewire.
It would probably be helpful not to read posts where guys are raving about their latest super O.
Hello!
I've had it for about two months now and have used it maybe every other day. I suppose I have gotten a netagtive attitude about it, but it's hard to change that at this point. I have the Eupho Syn right now. I usually end up going for about 20-30 minutes before giving up. It's hard to go much longer as I have five animals to take care of haha, my fault there I suppose.
@kamcknig, It is going to take time. Eupho SYN is a very thin model and will not exert much pressure on the prostate so it will take time for your body to become aware of it. I think 20-30 minutes is not really long enough to begin with, but it is better than nothing. Are you able to use it at night where you might have more time. It took me a couple of months of almost nightly use before my prostate noticed it.
I have just got my Eupho SYN, I think it is going to be very good. Most of the time I have used the SGX.
The forum is very quiet at the moment. Hang on there a bit as I am sure some of our senior members will have some good advice.
...This is really starting to disappoint me. I just can't seem to get any feeling from it at all.Identifying Obstacles to Progress is the first step toward finding a solution. When you have identified the obstaces then you can formualte a plan for resolving them. Maximizing pleasure from Aneros use may be a complex mental puzzle to solve. Patience, persistence and a positve attitude are needed to keep the inevitable disappointments to a minimum.
I've had it for about two months now and have used it maybe every other day.Frequency of Use is quite variable with Aneros owners, some think more frequent use promotes faster learning, while I think some time between sessions promotes better assimilation of information. In either case, it make take an idefinite period of time for your prostate to "awaken" and during this period you may not feel much at all. One thing you can do to help the process along is to only have a session when you are highly aroused, if you are not sufficiently aroused, the session is likely going to be a dud. Attempting to make your body become aroused on an arbitrary schedule will probably be futile. If you are not aroused, it it is no wonder you will feel little to nothing simply because your body is not interested in pursuing those sensations (see the threads Are you "aroused"? & Aneros, Arousal & Abstinence for more info.)I suppose I have gotten a netagtive attitude about it, but it's hard to change that at this point. A negative attitude going into a session is not a good formula for success. While I can sense your frustration and disappointment from a lack of results (perhaps some false expectations at work here as well), a negative attitude is only going to make the situation worse. At the very least you need to approach each session in a neutral frame of mind but it would be better to approach the session with a sense of adventure, an attitude of curious exploration with a sense of wonder. This activity is meant to be fun, exciting and pleasurable, starting it off in negativity isn't going to make it easier.I usually end up going for about 20-30 minutes before giving up. It's hard to go much longer as I have five animals to take care of haha, my fault there I suppose.Setting time constraints for a session is adding stress and pressure to an activity which thrives only when stress and pressure are eliminated. You need to make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy your session unhurried, quietly and privately. One frquently cited obstacle and session killer is what we call 'mind noise', these are extraneous thoughts which confound our ability to focus on our pleasure sensations, distract us to the point of ignoring the subtle sensations which were moments earlier bringing us such pleasure. Having the responsibility to care for pets, people or any of the myriad of obligations each of has can create an unending stream of 'mind noise'. Minimizing this 'mind noise' is essential to success, so you may need to find substitute care providers to temporarily handle these obligations if you are to have any hope of having enjoyable Anerosessions. Learning mental relaxation techniques such as meditation or self-hypnosis will also greatly facilitate your ability to control the extent of 'mind noise'.
While you didn't mention it, your immediate environment can also influence your ability to have enjoyable sessions, you may wish to read the thread Identifying Facilitators to Progress for some ideas to help you in that vein.
Good Vibes to You !
P.S. I sent you an introductory PM with some additional hints and tips to get you started here.

Given your description of your experience so far, and if you are still interested in trying to get somewhere, you might want to give the Tempo model a try. It is not exactly a prostate massager, but it just might be what you need to learn to feel what is inside you. I say this because its weight makes it hard to ignore, while its small size keeps it mobile. I would suggest trying the exercises described in the thread "Quick and Dirty Path to the Super-O", but with the Tempo inserted. I think there is a good chance you will be able to feel the shaft of the Tempo when you apply anal contractions and that you will be able to feel the head of the Tempo when you apply PC contractions. With some practice, you will probably be able to use contractions to get the Tempo moving, and perhaps initiate involuntary contractions. Try it in different positions: on your back, side, belly, etc. If it works, you might get some real pleasure from the tempo. Perhaps more important to you, anything you learn should transfer to the more conventional Aneros models such as the Helix and Eupho. BTW, when you insert the Tempo, the small ball near the base should stay outside the rectum, though it may bump the anus during contractions. For whatever it is worth, I started with the Tempo and enjoyed it enough that I have since tried other Aneros models. My current favorite model is a Helix Classic. It is a journey. Good luck!
st00rmy2: I don't see the Tempo, it says page not found when I click it :/
There seems to a problem with the obvious link on the Aneros home page, but if you first go to the "Sex Toys for Men" or "Sex Toys for Couples" link under "CATEGORIES" on the home page, you will find a workable link to "Tempo". Or just use the direct link http://www.aneros.com/sex-toys-for-couples/tempo/ .
