Off to a great start - seeking suggestions for longer sessions

So I just got my aneros helix a couple days ago... I've had some past experience with prostate massage and knew it was something I enjoyed in the context of erotic/tantric massage - so I was naturally curious about a device that would let me enjoy this anytime by myself.

I think I'm fortunate in that my first couple sessions were really great from the beginning - I have pretty good muscle control as well. My first sessions have gone something like this: from the moment I insert the aneros, I immediately get giant straining erections, as I apply initial light contractions, involuntary contractions begin almost immediately, sometimes accompanied by quivering muscles in my legs buttocks and abdomen. These sensations lead to very strong involuntary contractions that cause hip thrusting and back arching and lots of fantastic pleasure. This is also accompanied by copious amounts of precum. My guess from reading others descriptions is that I'm experiencing a series dry orgasms - which are great! Definitely not experiencing the much vaunted super-orgasm, but I feel like with the initial success, such a thing is definitely possible.

So here is my question - my first sessions have been great, but only last for 15-20 min or so. After that it becomes more difficult to engage the aneros to star the series of involuntary contractions that seem to lead to the most pleasurable experiences, and by the time perhaps 30 minutes have gone by, it seems impossible to reengage.

I know I'm probably ahead of the curve in most respects - having immediate success. And I'm ready to be patient - just wondering how more experienced users recommend going forward toward both longer sessions (love to feel like I do for the first 15 min for an hour or two!) and hopefully the holy grail of super-orgasm.

Thanks!

discreet_in_chi,

Welcome to the Aneros Forums, and congratulations upon having such wonderful early results from your little investment.

For many men there is a cyclical nature to their Anerosessions, that is, there may be clusters of P-waves and various sensations which will arise and then abate over short spans of time. These periods can be highly variable from just a minute or two to almost continuous. Your current cresting period of approximately 20 minutes is perfectly natural, likewise you may have a natural 'trough' period of equal duration or it could be longer or shorter. Since everyone's journey is unique it is impossible to predict how long their productive Anerosessions will last or that your frequency will even be consistent over time and with experience.

Only you can determine if extending your lull time will lead into another cresting phase. This is a matter of listening/reading your body sensations on the tail end of the ridden crest. Ask your body if it is satiated or just recuperating and ready to build toward a new tidal surge of sensations. There are just too many factors that can affect a particular session to give you advice on this aspect of practice. Some days you may not have time to freely dedicate to an extended session or your arousal may already have diminished too much or any number of other conditions may converge to keep your session enjoyment short. My best advice is to listen to what your body tells you despite your conscious desire to pursue enduring pleasure time. Remember you can NOT force or coerce your body to perform this amazing pleasure dance on demand, Just Let Go and enjoy what you can.

I'm definitely on the same page with you Rumel - in fact the limiting factor in my first couple sessions has been time - fortunately tomorrow I'm going to have a protracted bit of free time where I'm going to see what happens after the first wave of sensations.

Also, I have had good luck using a lumbar back stretcher to aid my position, it results in a supportive and comfortable position with the lumbar back arched and the hips positioned perfectly! I don't know if others utilize such devices but I think it's been important to my early success as well as towards making my back feel good too!

Cheers
