Hi,
I've had no success, not even really pleasurable sensations with the MGX or the Helix. I will be giving them their last chances over April, which will probably only amount to 4 or so sessions.
I think it may be time to see if my dimensions would best match the Maximus. The Progasm is too scarey, needs more preparation, could be dangerous, etc, although I guess so I was the MGX when I first saw it.
What seems to make sense with the Helix is that it jots out and has ripples all along the side that would contact the prostate, whereas the other models seem to jot in and "indent" where the prostate would be. I don't get it. But maybe their size is the key.
I am willing to do what it takes to have prostate pleasure through Aneros. I just want it to work.
Is there anyone that had no success with a few models but then had it with "the one" (whichever that may be)? Which one was "the one"?
I'm 6ft3 ish, but the Helix should be able to deal with my height.
Where is the guy that had the beginner's guide type E-book thing? Could you PM me or post here? It was supposed to be even more newbie-focused than the wiki - which is just what I need, coz I don't know what I am not doing.
I dunno what to do. I would love to see how the Helix works during sex, but I don't want to bring the Aneros up with my girlfriend until I have something to "show for it", i.e. an actual benefit, i.e. pleasure. Otherwise, its just a piece of plastic up my ass for no reason.
As you can read in my link in my sig, my situation is a little different. I battle depression, have no pleasurable sensations from sex or masturbation (just the orgasm), and am seeing a phychologist who is referring me either to a OCD doctor (coz that's in there too: currently my quest for pleasure has become another obsession, and I am obsessed with the "idea" of getting as much pleasure sexually as women do, coz in my eyes, with a clitoris, multiple orgasms, some guy doing the work, etc, it seems like they have it better), or a sexologist.

If you are willing to do what it takes to have prostrate pleasure, then you won't give up. It took me a year of infrequent use to even feel anything somewhat pleasurable from my Helix.
If you are considering something as big as the Maximus, you might as well spring for the Progasm. I've read much more posts of success with that model than the Maximus. And being an owner of a Progasm, MGX, Helix, and recently Peridise. I will attest that the Progasm is my favorite model almost exclusively.
What makes you scared of the Progasm? Are you having difficulty inserting the MGX or Helix and getting relaxed enough for them to feel comfortable afterwards? Those are really only the two things that would come to mind of being a problem in my mind.

That's a very limiting approach to take. But it is your choice.

Hi, GF downstairs so quick post, may not finish before sending:
- Scared of progasm coz of size, need slower insertion, more care, may rip in rush (I live with mum), etc.
- Helix and MGX insert comfortably and fine, no pain.
- Limiting? I want her to feel that it is for a reason, rather than see my frustration.
